I am already in British Columbia and applying for PNP next months , I already had full time Job offer and already working in NOC B for past 4 months

My category is 6221 which is in BC PNP high priority Tech Pilot Program, can you please advise should I go for EEBC PNP or Skilled Worker ? I completed 1 year course from BC PNP and on PGWP.

although my score is quite low around 82 in BC PNP because of low IELTS and unavailability of work experience letters from my country ( although I have worked for 10 years in my country in the same NOC 6221)

I think BC PNP will has high score 91 which I am not able to come up with so anyone of you can advise me what should be my path for it.

IQAS assessed my credentials as "Masters" and I completed 1 yr program here in BC

your response shall be highly appreciated.

Once again thanks for your response.

You need to see if you are qualified for Express Entry first to consider the EEBC. You need to meet one of the categories under the Express Entry. If you are able to apply for EE then I will say definitely apply for the EEBC because if you just apply for BC PNP then after you get nominated, it's about 8 months to 1.5 years at least of processing time. If you do the EEBC then it's about 3 months of processing time until you get your PR. Hope this help.

Many Thanks for your response mate

How would I know that am I eligible for EEBC?

What are the specific requirements for EEBC?

Even under Pilot Tech Category it will take months to 1.5 years ?

once again Thanks for your response

There are three programs in Express Entry,

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Canadian Experience Class
you need to meet at least one of the three programs in order to apply for EEBC.

Plz see the requirement in this link:
And yes, even with the TechPilot BC nomination, after you receive your nomination from BC, you can only file through paper base for you PR application which it takes at least 8 months to 1.5 years. Paper base is a lot slower than express entry and you can ONLY apply to the paper base if you apply your nomination through BCPNP instead of EEBC.

It doesn't really matter as long as you are able to get your ITA (Invitation to apply) for nomination then you are good to go.

Hi Leannel,

I would like to ask you one question about my PNP file. Please see below my timeline then I will ask my question.

EE Skilled Worker outland tech pilot
1) File submitted and status changed to in-process on June 25, 2018.
2) The progress bar on my file number is already 100% but it shows still in process.
3) employer first telephonic interview was done on 23 September 2018.
4) again one more query for employer on 30 September 2018 which he has already replied

It's been more than 3 months and I am waiting. I fall under tech pilot category. Noc is 2172. Can you please tell if there is any positive news coming my way or it will be negative? Please do let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

As an inland applicant on work permit did you provide PCC for the countries that you have lived in?
When I applied for my work permit I had already submitted PCC for all countries that I lived in but now my UAE PCC has expired as it's valid for only 3 months and UAE police is only willing to email me my new PCC.
As per the document checklist I'm supposed to provide original copy which is not possible.
I'm currently on work permit in BC, is it still necessary that I provide PCC or a letter of explanation as to why I can't provide one?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Could you please share your story of how you entered BC on a work permit from UAE

Could you tell me what documents related company are needed for submitting when I apply BC Pnp tech?
Does the company need to pay something?
For work permit, when did you apply for it? After getting Nominee or ITA?
Is it need to submit same documents? related company?
