Thank brother, Hope so.
But as per my knowledge not second officer but CPC officer, coz First CIO case processing agent review and provide there recommendation and forward file to Cpc or Lvo for review by an officer.

I think people got confused by word 'Review'.

Guys. My colleague who hadn’t paid his RPRF upfront recently got this communication from IRCC (it was an RPRF request).

It said, “This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. The admissibility review is currently in process; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.
At this time our records indicate that you have not paid the required RPRF fee.....”

It says his “admissibility review” is currently in progress. Does this mean he has passed eligibility?

I’m unable to advise him because I had paid RPRF upfront and so I never got such a letter before I got my PPR.

His timeline is similar to mine:
AOR - Aug 2 or 3 (not sure of the exact date but it’s one of these two)
1) Medicals passed
2) BGC - In progress. We will let you know when the background check starts.
3) Eligibility - We are still reviewing your eligibility.

His account has been in the same status since a week after his submission (since Aug 10 or so) and nothing has changed since then. And now he suddenly received the RPRF request yesterday but the online status is still the same.

Although his online status shows “We are still reviewing your eligibility”, I don’t know how accurate that is because it’s been over three months since his submission and his online status just never seems to change at all. There has been literally zero movement on it since August 10.

I think it is simply just a generic message to tell him to pay the RPRF.

Welcome to " Review Required" group brother:)
Your file needs to review by another officer and this takes more time...so just keep patience and hope for the best.
Hey man. His Eligibility status is Met, which means it has been reviewed by a Case Processing Agent at the CIO and the agent recommended Eligibility is Met, the next review will be done by an Officer at a VO, probably CPC Ottawa.

Every file gets reviewed a second time by a Visa(senior) Officer not just the files tagged “Review Required”. Only an officer can make a final “pass” on Eligibility. This second review tends to take time as “files are queued up for review”

Hi, since the verbiage used in the rprf for your friend is 'admissibility', he will soon have good news.
