Hi . We passed our application last spetember 13 and ver heard anything still til now. Where do we go from here. I applied to sponsor my wife to come here to canada. Can somebody help me get the number of IRCC and how to contact them . We sre very worried we have been in distance relationship for 9 years already and we got married last june 2018 and applied on september 13 for spousal sponsorship. Ive read you sould be expecting mostly about 30 days for the eligibilty to be approved. But havent heard anything.

It's most certainly not 30 days to get eligibility approved. That takes months.

What you're waiting for is AOR and that usually comes 6-8 weeks after you send your application, but it can take longer. Recently we've seen an increase in the wait time for AOR and many people are getting them past the two month mark.

Hi..will cic accept non ede medicals for sponsorship? Actually i have done non ede medical on june..cic requested medical last week under ede category.

Criminality: passed
Security check : not started what is the difference and how long it can take to start security check.

And none of the information is about the process in NDVO. All explaination is about initial steps such as :
Application received
SA approved
Medical requested on
Medical received on
Additional document requested on
Additional document received on
....I already had all this information from gc Kay and ecas.

PR application for my spouse was received on Oct 15, 2018. Principal application is from Bangladesh and there is no country specific requirement. I sent CIC photocopies of the Police Certificate. Is that okay or should I have sent the originals? Is there a chance my application getting returned since I did not send originals or did I do the right thing by sending copies?

I printed out scanned copy of the police clearance certificate and shared with my package. Will my application be returned or will I be asked to send PCC? Also, I re-read the guide and checklist and could not find anywhere where it states photocopies or original. Did I miss something?

In my opinion ORIGINAL PCC is required. They have asked members here for original but lets wait and see. Also if you have the original just mail it , it is of no use to you later. I seen 1 member they asked to upload the Original PCC , but how it is Original after uploading it would be a copy of Original!

Hello,
I have applied for canadian pr post marriage
So i recently received an email stating if i require any pre arruval services from canada before arriving which would be free of cost to me
And then my application status got changed to Decision made
So what does that indicate
Since i received that pre arrival service email

It does not necessarily mean you were approved. But you'll know soon. They will notify you with the decision. We received the pre arrival letter and then got denied. It was x extra harsh because we thought we were approved because of that letter. But if you hwve no issues with your application then hopefully you get better news then we did. Good luck

That means you have passed the Eligibility as well as your background check is done. You will get the PPR in few days now. Congrats. Don't forget to share your timeline and visa office please

October 2nd: AOR1, Medical Request,
October 3rd: SA
October 15th: Medical
October 17th: Medical approved
November 8th: Additional Documents and RPRF request
November 13th: PPR

Pre arrival means that the eligibility has been cleared, i.e. they don't have any doubt on genuineness of your relationship. Now its background check, if you don't have any criminal record (which most of the people applying for immigration don't have) they approve your application. Pre arrival followed by decision made means its approved. I can't comment on your case as I don't have the specific details but you can't generalize cases based on your experience. Every case, every file is different.

We got pre arrival after decision made which is why we thought approved, but it wasn't. Way to play with our emotions eh. Lol
