Hello! I just received this email from IRCC and just wanted to verify if this is the AIP:

"We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Vancouver Immigration will contact
you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application."​

Timeline (simplified):
App Received: Dec 11
OWP in Mail: May 3
Med Req: June 8
Med Passed: June 30
SA: Oct 23
DM PA on ECAS: Oct 23
AIP (?): Oct 26

No, you'll be waiting for your landing appointment letter from Vancouver IRCC. AIP comes before DM. So right now, you don't need it anymore.

Congrats and to be honest it seems to be luck of the draw. I got my DM on October 1st and still don't have a letter from Vancouver, however I know someone who got their letter the same time I did and they already had their interview this week....I am still waiting and I know I am not alone...this last step seems to be longest....maybe you'll get lucky and get your appointment invite soon. Congrats again!

Hi everyone, question. For the landing interview, it says that I bring Temporary Resident document issued by CIC, do I bring all the permits, current/valid and expired OR just the current? I have several expired permits from when I was still studying.

But I'm thinking atm that I bring all, just in case. Haha

I almost have the same timeline as you: received my Appointment letter today but it is on 9th of November in Edmonton office. But I have a question, do you received a letter same as mine? Said I the content “ PLEASE BE PREPARED To wAit UP TO 2.5 hours as interview are conducted in order of arrival ? What is that mean? I hope it is not the length of interview. TIA

December 21 applicant, today Oct 26 received landing letter for November 15. Montreal office. DM letter Oct 11. AOR ans SA Oct 03

Congratulations! They are just saying that we could wait up to 2.5 hours for our turn. Not the length of the interview.
