I almost have the same timeline as you: received my Appointment letter today but it is on 9th of November in Edmonton office. But I have a question, do you received a letter same as mine? Said I the content “ PLEASE BE PREPARED To wAit UP TO 2.5 hours as interview are conducted in order of arrival ? What is that mean? I hope it is not the length of interview. TIA

Hi everyone, question. For the landing interview, it says that I bring Temporary Resident document issued by CIC, do I bring all the permits, current/valid and expired OR just the current? I have several expired permits from when I was still studying.

But I'm thinking atm that I bring all, just in case. Haha

Thank you! I'm sure there will be a wave of landing appointments for Vancouver IRCC soon. Edmonton IRCC just started handing them out this week for everyone waiting.

Definitely! Can’t imagine all the patience we have had for all the silence of waiting. Shame though we don’t have the same landing date, nevertheless, cheers to the both of us! I hope other fellow applicants get their turn as soon as possible too!

There would be additional delays if your transfer is for further assessment and also depending on the local office

There is nothing to be be nervous about now, you are all ready approved for PR, the landing interview is just about showing IDs and signing papers.

Congrats to all receiving landing letters! I'm still waiting! Mine is coming from London though I don't see many people with same office so I have no idea when I will finally get that landing letter with the time and date to land. Fingers crossed it is soon.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes between DM and landing appointments in Calgary?

We got our letter the same day as DM with an appointment 18 days later.

Hi guys ,
M app is 20 nov after getting SA on 15 October I haven’t heard anything back . Shall I call them or sent letter through web form or shall I wait ??
PA side is in process but I don’t know that if my file is still in Vancouver or they transferred it somewhere . Becos I don’t have any status right now
Usually people getting AIP after sa within a day or in a week . There are few cases took longer but they know that their file is transferred

They won't do much as you aren't past the 12 months yet

Hello everyone. Our spouse sponsorship application was received on 22 Nov, the last update was in May. We called CIC and they said it’s still in the security check. Do you know how long this takes?

It's all case specific if you go past 12 months you can send a webform and ask what the delay is.
