I can’t really understand the delay!it has been about 7 months, why is so slow!as to my understanding none of the april applicants get a test invite!while on the other hand some got the ceremony invite...it looks to me that there is something wrong going on in Edmonton

New to the forum.
We had our citizenship exams yesterday.
I passed, unfortunately my husband didn't.
Anyone same boat?
Recently how much time it will take for the rescheduling of the 2nd test?
Wondering if I still need to go back on his 2nd test day?
Please share some experience. Thank you.

Our officer might be on vacation or just have piled up our applications and will process them one shot. I have requested an urgent processing and attached my itinerary since I will be leaving in December for holiday and as per IRCC response, the request has been forwarded to the local office processing the application but it's more than a month already still haven't gotten any response from Edmonton office. When I phoned IRCC, the background check has been completed already and everything was okay. They only advised me to wait since it is still in the average processing time.

Hi all,

Did anyone from British Columbia who applied for the Citizenship in April receive a test invite yet?
I am still in Process.
A buddy of mine applied in February and he is still in Process as well...

No you don’t have to go back with him
When he does the 2nd test. My husband failed his test on September 6 he got 12/20 and then they sent him an email I believe 2 weeks after and he went on October 11 to do the retest and he passed 20/20. So wait maybe 2-3 weeks for an email.

Did you do your test already and still in process? I am trying to compare to see if anyone is in the same boat as my husband. Passed test on October 11 and still in process :(

We wanted to go on vacation for Xmas but it doesn’t look like it will go as planned.

I just checked my ECAS showed Decision Made but the inside is still the same. My husband’s status is In Process.
