But as Cansha said that approximately 40% of ppl receive PPR's after 4 months of their AORs you might get update by this week or next week.. Don't worry mate u will get it sooner than you know

I have been a silent listener to this group from a long time . I am so happy for the people who are achieving a progress in their application. Hope all of us get pprs by end of this month. God bless you all.

Today,I logged into my account several times till now. But no status update till the second last log in. In the last one something confusing happened. The current status says:
Review of eligibility :We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview : You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

As far as I have read in this forum explained by many people that background check starts after eligibilty has been passed. But the status above is a bit confusing.
Can somebody throw a light on what it states?

So background check happens in two steps. Criminality which can run along with eligibility and once your eligibility is passed the second part of background check begins which is security. From your status they are reviewing your eligibility but they have also commenced your background check. However this dos not mean anything in terms of IP1 or IP2, your case is like mine where IP1 and IP2 are running concurrently! Goodluck!

Ip1 13 july
no update since
FswO

i called cic, agent said file is at high commission in new delhi.
she said, as file is outside canada, she cant give any updates or access my file.
Is this response from her correct, does anyone know?
also, today happens to be the 110th day post aor? is this delay normal ?

Hi dear,
You got nothing to worry so far based on what u learnt from the agent. On the bright side, you atleast got some visibility about your LVO. It is true that the agent will not be able to help you out with any information since the file has moved out from the visa office (VO) to a local visa office (LVO).
Inorder for you to get a more transparent status, u will need to order GCMS notes.

From how long have you been in ip2 stage(i mean at what time your bg check initiated)? And your timelines please

Is that the case? I'm positive that I read a case of a FSW O applicant where the medicals were extended without the applicant asking for it.

Yes u r correct may be i will get PPR in next 02 weeks.
I also want to knwo that is it helpful if we call to agent an ask about file status?

Hi, if your file has been transferred from the CPO/VO to the local visa office then the agent with whom you will converse with will be unable to give out any info as they are not equipped to respond to queries or statuses of case files sent to foreign offices for further processing..

Hi dear,

It is very normal to see a stagnant status in your cic account with regards to eligibility as under reviewing stage even after you get your golden email . Since the status shows that background check is in process, it basically means the following
R10 ( document completeness has been passed),
Medicals passed,
eligibility may be in progress or would be recommended pass ( the latter is most likely however the only way to confirm this is by ordering gcsm notes)
background check and security check in progress..

All goes well, you should be hearing yourself to read the golden email next.. cheers!!

But thats thats pretty normal in your case where both eligibility and background check started soon after your AOR. In my case,review of my eligibility started in june but got a recent change where bg check started without eligibility being passed . I called up cic last month where the agent told me that my eligibility has been met. Then I doubt why it has not been passed till now?

Eligibility will show under review till the time you get your COPR. Stop drawing conclusions based off status in CIC account. They mean nothing.

ok thats great news your you. Dont rely too much on the status reflected on your CIC account. People have received PPR while their status was similar to yours! Your PPR is closer than you think! Goodluck!
