Sorry I dont know the exact timeline for the rest as I applied through an agent.

when I call them it says

eligibility is in review
I have passed meds
Dont need interview
Dont need fingerprints
Processing your BG.

I got an email asking for rprf fees on 28th sept. I paid them on the same day. No updates since then. Was being asked for rprf a positive thing?

Your VO? Mine is London and i have completed 6 months last week
I have got the same issue. My 6 months time was completed on 19 September, while I am in Canada so my Visa office is Ottawa. But my application is still stuck at the Back Ground Check stage. I have sent email to their online portal, as well as tried to contact the agent over the phone. But none of them was helpful. As they keep sharing the same recording as the one you see when you log in on to my account.

Hey, same problem. I completed my 6 months on 25th September. Tried all you have mentioned and same thing. All they can tell is it is under process. Its frustrating. :(

Completed 7 months on Oct 4. (AOR Mar 4)
I just requested GCMS for the second time (first request was on Aug 17; I have not received those notes yet)
Medical was passed 2 weeks after AOR
When I was on the phone with them, I've been told that criminal check was passed, but eligibility check has not yet stared.
My VO is Sydney, Nova Scotia.
I know the NS office is supposed to be slower, but I feel like 7 months is too long. Is anyone else in the same VO and a similar/higher wait time?

What did your first GCMS notes say?

Time for my weekly post for Montreal visa office :D:D

Are you a FSW-O candidate based in the USA? or an inland Candidate?

Still stuck in IP1? if Yes, then your application may be at Montreal visa office.

Do order GCMS notes or call IRCC agents and find out ...

Why? Because if you're at Montreal your wait likely is going to be long one! Based on the data we have till now Montreal takes 5-6 months to give PPR. Hence knowing this may prevent you to log-in to CIC account daily.

For more information please join us at Montreal thread here!

Yes, I have a similar timeline, AOR March 14th and my office is NS as well.

To say I am frustrated would be an understatement, there was a rain of PPR's this week for people who submitted their applications several months after us and here we are still waiting. The worst part is that there is no end in sight, in one week I'll be in the same position and thinking "Maybe next week will be the one", it's like waiting for a miracle to happen.

You should have received your first notes by now. I suggest to contact the people who requested them on your behalf, in case you used a Third Party service.
