Hi there! I'm currently finalizing my documents for the INLAND family spousal application:
I do have few questions:
1. In my additional family information form, I need one more page to fit my youngest brother. How do I add a page? Do I just write it on a blank page or is there a form?
2. Did you need to get your fingerprints form RCMP or just the police certificate?
3. Did the sponsor write any letter of support? If yes, does it have to be notarized?
4. Does the letters from the family/friends need to be notarized?

I am applying as a common law.. i lived with my boyfriend for more than a year now.

Thanks!
I

Hi and welcome @wingbuot !

1 - There's no extra form, just write all information on a blank page. Make sure that on the top you write the number and name of the form, names of sponsor and principal applicant, the section and/or the question which you refer;
2 - I sent just police certificate, you need to check the IRCC website to know if you need to provide fingerprints, (link in blue);
3 - Letters of support are not mandatory, if you decide to write one it don't need to be notarized;
4 - Letters from family/friends must be notarized for common-law apps;

Double check your forms; type your name and hand sign all required fields; don't leave questions without answer (if not applicable, write N.A.); send all documents they ask on the check list (if you are not able to send a document, write a letter with a good explanation); don't forget to pay the fees and send the receipts.

Hope it helps,
André

I did not notarized any docs for my wife. All letters they jusy gave their government issued id's and phine numbers i provided police clearance upfront.

For family info i added another page for her younger brother then on the checklist i indicated it and i made a post it note saying additional form for one more sibling.

If you paying everything make sure you pay 255 for the work permit and open work permit holder fee then another 1,040 for sponsorship, pr and such. In total u paying 1295 dollars.

The
Hoping they took from the "Right of PR" fees if that's possible. Like I said, nothing came back about it in our first round of corrections. I could pay it now, but I'm not sure what good that would do.
They would never do that as again it will be confusing and they dont want that cos they are in fact trying to shorten up the wait times. Doing that would mean chaos.

It seems to be an all day activity whenever I try to get a hold of them. I have blocked out tomorrow specifically for that.

Just keep trying, jump through different menus,,, it might work.

Also , what the other user said,... first thing in the morning is best,,, one time i dialed and went straight through. That was before I submitted my app.

I just got an email about Canada post potentially striking
Striking could slow down the mails but definitely it will be processed and sent. If canada post is with cupe then striking would mean employees would have alternate days to come to work and another day striking thats how i believe strikes would work. I am not sure if this has changed.

I didn’t know that. That’s pretty cool!
