Sure, I just hope they don't make us stay in IP2 for long. I stayed in IP1 for 4.5 months and don't want to be stuck in IP2 as well.
I know same here .. my aor is 6th march. For 5 months I was stuck in ip1. Hopefully we get our PPR soon.

Thanks for responding to my question. Finally got the PPR email today!! Now I don’t know what to do. I have been asked to mail my passport to the London VAC. Do you think my status will affect it? Do you think it matters?
Congrats!
No, I don't think your status affects anything wrt Canada immigration at this point. I know it is risky to part with your passport at this phase but try using an expedited mailing service if you cannot go in person.
The reason I state that is this might end (in your favor) faster than this discussion - by taking the plunge. One thing to note though is it you need your passport to seek the medical attention you need - then, I leave it upto you. Health comes before everything else.

Hello all.

March 21 AOR, FSW-Outland (from South Africa) haven't heard anything at all about my application since March 28 when I got a message about how to find a job in Canada.

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Looks like this is going to be a long wait yet...

Hello, Is there anyone here who is yet to receive PPR email and still stuck in IP2 also crossed the 6 month mark? Anyone here knows if he/she is under security screening? An agent told me over the call that everyone goes through it but I don't understand how it can be completed in just 1-2 days after moving to IP2 as I have seen many applicants recently. I am stuck now in IP2 since 30th July and got a ghost update on 7th August still nothing and upon talking to an agent after 7th August he said that Background check is still in progress and no time frame can be given. This is so frustrating as I will be completing the 6 month mark in two weeks.

Did you folks apply directly without an agent/attorney?
