Did the first agent send you an email with your name, date, and address of where the ceremony will take place ? If so, then I would think it would be good enough. Personally, I would return back to Canada and attend it.

Alternatively, do as the agent suggested. Wait till Friday and then decide.
The letter is only generic and tells me what to documents to bring, no mention of my name, location, time... etc

We finally received our invite for Oath this afternoon and will be going to Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga. Good luck to all who are still waiting. Oath will be August 31st, 9am.
Someone advised me to do an update on my contact on Ecas and that it may help. So I changed my number on the application to my work cell number last Friday.....not sure if it has anything to do with the invite.
Although I live in Stouffville, but I will be on vacation at Niagara Falls for that week so it will be easy to drive from there to Mississauga and back.

Thanks all for helping me to deal with the stress and for always having good and encouraging words whenever needed.
Good luck to you all.
Finally! I’m so happy for you. Congrats!

I sent my letter to the Scarborough CIC office. Same address as the one I got for the test. Is that what you were asking?

Yes exactly
Thanks a lot! Apparently I have to do the same to make sure not to have the oath during the week of my vacation time
All the best

Oath invitation received for 04 Sep @ 9 am in Mississauga.
App received 20 Oct 2017
App approved 10 March 2018
Oath Date 04 Sep 2018

Took longer to schedule oath ceremony (approx 6 months) than to process application (approx 5 months).
Bottom line- Application processing time is not a true reflection of becoming Canadian citizen (at least for some processing centers), however for most cases the whole process is completed within 12 months.

Good luck to those still waiting (especially Oct applicants). Take it easy, its just a matter of time!

Does anyone have any experience in Mississauga office for taking kids with them during oath ceremony? I have a 2 years old son that is very active and I'm not sure how the stuff react if he starts to running around etc, any feedback would be really appreciated.

If you son is fussy and running around they will asked you to get someone to take him outside the room so it’s would be a good idea to have someone with you in case he is fussy. There is a TV screen outside the room where the person with you could look at the Ceremony.
