Oh that is a relief thank you so much...I was wondering how come I didn't get anything...
Also I did you get any email for your approval of the OWP? or it was only through GCKEY you got to know that it has been approved? I am not able to access GCKey as I applied through a representative so, do we get an email after the approval of OWP? Thank you once again for your help...
We are still waiting for the OWP. We applied through a representative too, so any information regarding the application will be presented to us through the representative. But that is our agreement. Check with your representative and make sure... No problem and good luck

Logged into CIC account, and OWP has been approved.
This morning it read currently reviewing eligibility.
Hi I need some information, I applied through a representative and I want to know if you get an email along with the changes in GCKEY? You mentioned your status changed and it said your OWP has been approved along with the approval did you get an email? Or the only way to know whether one's OWP is approved is to log into GCKEY and check. Hope to hear from you...Thank you....

Hi

On Tuesday (day of approval) the status changed to decision made, and it had approved under at the bottom. But it didn't have any alerts or notifications.
The next day I received an email saying there is a message for me in the CIC account, and once I logged in there was a message that said it has been approved and will be posted to me at the address provided on the application.

I do recall that when I initially linked the application it gave me message saying that I will no longer receive messages via email now that it has been linked, so I'm not sure if that means you will receive the updates via email if you haven't been able to link it.

Hi there,
I am a newbie here. I will be applying in August 2018. Is this the relevant group for discussion or is there a separate group for August 2018 applications.
If anyone can help me with this question -

The latest Document checklist (updated as of June 2018) asks a new question to the 'sponsor' at the beginning of the checklist -
"The person Iam sponsoring was declared as my spouse or partner and was already examined as a non-accompanying dependent when I applied for a permanent resident visa and did not receive an immigrant visa.(Note: If you have never applied for a permanent resident visa No)

Now, my understanding is it is asking if you were married before you applied for your own PR and your wife was declared as a non-accompanying dependent in your (meaning Husband's) PR application. But what if I was single at the time I received my PR and got married later? Obviously she wasn't part of my PR application. referring to words in the bracket, it says tick NO if you have never applied for a permanent resident visa. what does this mean by IF YOU HAVE NEVER APPLIED FOR A PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA? - Does it ask if I (the sponsor has never applied for a permanent visa) or if I have ever sponsored anyone for a PR visa?

I am confused if I should tick Yes or No.

Thanks!
@canuck_in_uk If you can help as well. Thanks
