Hi. My brother wants to apply for study permit from Pakistan. He is targeting a masters program. He has already done bachelors in computer science. Does he need to get all his 'actual' not photocopies educational documents/ degrees attested by IBCC and canadian embassy etc? Thank you in advance.
Unless university asked for attested documents. Most of the universities does not require to submit IBCC and HEC attestation. Whereas few top ranking universities ask students to send their educational docuemnts directly by student previous college/institute's in seal envelope. But after securing Admission in any university in canada IRCC wont require any of attested documents except scan copies.

Thank you! Nope, I didnt have to give any kind of interview. Plus, I passed my medical on May 15th!

Biometric completed:- April 30th 2018
Request for Medical Received:- 4th of August 2018 (After 3 months..)
So my classes are starting from 6th of September. Is there any chance I can get the visa before that?
How long does it take for Medical to become cleared? Assuming I get a slot at 7th of August.
Furthermore, they havent requested police certificate for background clearance (should i get one made before hand ?)

Alright so i am pretty sure you wont get the 7th August slot. You'll probably get a date after the 10th of August but even if you get the 7th August one, your medical status will be 'passed" after three days.
In my experience, background checks are conducted after the medical and it can take two to three months more for them to approve the application unless your family has been visiting Canada in the past. In that case they'll approve you within a month. So chances are that you would have to defer your admission to the next term because there are many who got medical in June and they are still waiting.

Hi. Buddy i called IRCC at this +16139444000. Since i applied through immigration lawyer cannot check online account. Upon entring application number and date of birth. The automatic system told me my application was refused. I dont know now is it really refused. I sent email to lawyer yesterday but so far he did not reply.
Makes sense, I should start drafting my deferral email, going to send it on 1st of September. Got the date for medical on 9th of August by the way.
Call at this number. Select option 1 for every menu. When it asked to enter your study visa application number digits only then dial it with your phone followed by # key. Then dial your year of birth when asked. Then automated system will inform you about approximate prosessing time then it will ask you if you wish to hear you application current status then dial 1. That it. You will hear your current status.
I have opted to use a representative so havent got gc key so can i do this without that..?
