First of all you need to clarify a few queries.

- are you an inland or outland applicant? I believe you applied within Canada as you mentioned getting a call from a CSBA officer.
- did you go through the AIPP process? i.e. job offer, endorsement letter etc?
- have you made contact with IRCC about this?
- did you receive any acknowledgement when you submitted your application?
- did you provide all the documents required as well as applied under the right scheme under AIPP (High-Skilled, Intermediate, Int. Graduate)? i.e. -police report, medicals, proof of funds,IELTS, ECA etc

Do provide answers to these so that other members in the forum will be in a position to address them. It's very unusual not to have received any form of correspondence from IRCC regarding your application.

i don't know why they called , i assume that your application being in process more than 6 months so they just wana to make sure every thing going fine with you, anyway you don't have to worry about this call

Hello you all!
Need your advice. What is the best way to look for a job for this program. Maybe you can suggest sites or companies which are eager to hire a foreign worker? Also what specialties are most needed in these regions?
Hi dear did you get reply on your query

are you sure the call is from CBSA instead of IRCC?

I believe our applications are both being processed in IRCC-Halifax. I got two calls months ago from IRCC Halifax concerning my medical exam and they want to know if I have submitted or not.

If you are inland, just call the IRCC number, try again and again if you are told to wait. I usually get contact with an agent after like 3 times try and then wait for like half an hour. The agent would give you more information on your application.

Hi guys,

To those who have been endorsed under the High-Skilled stream, I'm wondering if everyone managed to include every single one of the documents they asked for in the checklist? More specifically:

  • Copy of your most recent work permit in Canada (if applicable)
  • Employer reference letters for the periods of work experience identified in your application. The letters must include:
- specific period of your employment (to/from dates)
- description of your main responsibilities and duties
- the corresponding NOC code (if known)
- your total annual salary and benefits
- the number of hours you worked per week
- your employer's name, signature, full address, telephone number and email address (if applicable)
  • Copies of your T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment (if applicable)
  • Work contracts
  • Pay stubs

I'm an inland applicant, so I have a work permit, and I can get the pay stubs, reference letters and T4 + Notice of Assessment. But I've never signed a written "work contract." I asked HR and they don't issue one. Is there anyone else here who doesn't have a written work contract? Or if you are missing any of the other documents (based on what applies to you)? What did you submit instead? How did that go?

Hi folks, this will be my last post I guess, because I got the message that my PR was approved.

Here is my timeline

0212 2018, application received
I never got Aor, and I linked the application a few weeks later. That is how I knew my application number
0319 additional document request
0321 medical request
0501 RCMP criminal record requested
then until
0801 approve letter

For personal reason, my medical exam was delayed a lot, otherwise my application might be processed faster, or not, who knows.

Anyways,
Good luck to everyone!
