Hi,
Is that meaning that when creating an EE profile and when receiving the ITA we should have the funds?
In my case I collected the funds after receiving my ITA.
I submitted my application yesterday.
Any one can advise?
Thx!

I hope you had the funds there for good. If you remove the funds, they will certainly reject if they don't find the minimum funds required

Hi, I am assuming you got an ADR for updated proof of funds and they found you didn’t have enough?
Or the proof of funds you originally submitted didn’t show enough funds?

So you mean to say they'll contact your bank to know if you have enough funds, even when you submit a Bank letter showing that you have funds above the required limit? In a way, I'm unable to understand why your application was rejected.

I think you should clarify a bit more. I'm not sure that the 1500 CAD your dad deposited AFTER THE AOR had anything to do with your rejection. The amounts don't really tally up. This is more of a case of rejection due to insufficient funds after taking currency exchange rates and other deductibles into consideration.

You are correct. At the the time of the submission, the account had enough money, but by the time the Immigration officer must have checked my profile, the amount was lesser than the required minimum threshold.

When I submitted my profile, the account had around CAD14,000. After a month of submitting my application, my father moves around CAD 2,350 from this account into another account (which the CIC doesnt know about obviously)

The application was rejected because the the account I had provided to the CIC genuinely had lesser money than the minimum threshold (it had CAD 11,700 instead of 12,400) because the money was moved from the account i submitted to the CIC to another account in my name.

Now, it has taken nearly 7 months with my new profile, I have the ITA and am just working on the Letter of Explanation that I'm attaching with my new profile.

I am explaining why the money was transferred, and I am explaining that since then, my account has had more than the minimum threshold- maintained over the last 7 months.

Any advise on the LOE, guys?

TIA

if you dont mind, may i know why you waited for 7 months? was it because the quota became lower, and ee points became higher, or you just decided to postpone your ee application?

May I know your timeline during the first eAPR? you mentioned 3months (from Sept to Dec 2017).

Reason why I am asking is because I am on the same situation as you do, although I have not received a rejection letter yet. I received AOR last June and currently on IP2. Before and after submission, I had more than enough funds (approx CAD 19,000) but few weeks later, I had to pay a flat in full, leaving my funds half empty. I was confident that I will be able to get it back after i get my salary, which is only few weeks, but due to our company's financial problem, i didnt get my salary until now. Assuming I get my June and July salary this month, the difference will be more than enough to cover the balance.

I am trying to get the remaining balance but i am not sure if it will work out, maybe they will think its suspicious if all of a sudden i deposited big amount. Currently, I am on the 54th day since AOR, 26 days, since IP2. Thats why i wanted to know your timeline so I can compare, and maybe hope that there is still a chance for me.

If i get rejected, can I re-apply immediately? or did you submit CSE?

Thanks!

Just to clarify, are you saying that IRCC checked your bank account balance even after you submitted signed and stamped bank statements?

To be honest, this is new to me. An immigration officer can request your account balance from the banks directly.

I'm wondering why the officer sent an ADR for updated proof of funds? What suspicion did he have that he requested for this document? Sorry I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this.

LoE wise, if you explain whatever you've told us here in a word doc that's enough. The officer will have the notes from your previous rejection anyway.

My CRS score was 441, so I had to wait till May end to get the cutoff, and even then the tie breaker stood at 441 for another two draws, but I finally got my ITA in the last week of May 2018.

It has taken this long since, (65 days already, but thankfully I still have another 24), because of personal reasons and because the immigration people who I had hired for my application (Y-Axis immigration) have proven to be extremely unprofessional, poorly informed and just a pain.

Now, once I am satisfied that my LOE is fine, I will submit my application.

To answer other question, yes- it took almost exactly 3 months after I submitted my application in 2017 and before I got the decision (rejection).
If you haven't gotten a rejection or a visa appointment, you are still safe, but the CIC can check your profile at any day now, so you must make sure that you replenish your account IMMEDIATELY and have at least 15,000 CAD in it.

If they check your account now and the available funds are less than the threshold, you will immediately get the rejection. Please don't make the mistake I did unknowingly, knowingly.
I've also been told (this is somebody's opinion) that the bank statement should reflect stability as well, and not just a few hundred dollars aboe the minimum threshold.

Yes, if you get rejected, you can apply immediately.

They have had to. Here is a quote from the rejection letter:
"The amount of funds is assessed according to the applicant’s family size, using 50% of the current Low-
Income Cut-off (LICO) from Statistics Canada for urban areas with populations of 500,000 or more. In

your application you have declared an available amount of $12,400 in settlement funds. I have reviewed
all information available and I am not satisfied that you have at your disposal, with sufficient liquidity, and
with the ability to transfer those assets, the necessary threshold of funds to support your establishment in
Canada on arrival. You have submitted evidence for funds in the amount of $11,672, assessed as per IRPR
subsection 76(1)(b)(i), in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other
obligations. You therefore have not satisfied me that you will be able to become economically established
in Canada as a member of the federal skilled worker class as per R76(1)(b)."

They knew almost the exact amount that I had in my account - 11,672

Thank you very much for your reply. I am trying to get the funds as fast as I can (atleast temporarily while i havent received my salary. once i get my salary hopefully in a week or so, i am safe).

my bank account can reflect stability (except during the past 4 weeks due to the full payment for my flat). my best case is that if i get the funds, they will notice sudden fluctuation and ask for ADR, worst case is that they will reject my application. I hope i get the funds in time before CIC gets to see my bank account. my sister warned me about this and i wasnt convinced. only when i saw your post, that i started worrying and thinking about the possibility. I am assuming that CIC did not ask for ADR during the entire process, am i correct? so that means CIC checked your bank directly for updated funds. I guess this is what Varunaimar is clarifying.

another question, may i know when your IP2 was during the first application?

Thank you so much again for answering my queries. :) Good luck to us all

I dont think that someone can check ur bank account, Its confidential.
How would they confirm then, whether or not the applicant took the money and didn't withdraw it after getting the bank letter from their bank manager?

Maybe we give them the permission to check our account info and to verify it in one of the Terms and Conditions of our application which we click "I agree" to but never read..

Hi, well that's what I am asking myself right, I'll have some expenses which will drop my account below the required balance, will this be a problem ? will they check my account balance ? that's worrying.
