@Peanut butter and jelly ...most people don’t receive that notificatoon for the fact that they are not able to scan each and every package...you can track down both the letters from Canada Post web site....you should wait 7-10 days after you sent your passport to receive it back

I am glad there is someone in the same boat as me. I called the CIC, couldn't get through to a real person, but learned that they have not yet processed ones received on May 24th. I have a feeling applications with family members follow a different timeline than ones that are for single persons. A friend of mine who submitted later than me but who is single got her permit, but a different friend who has family members with him is still waiting. Let's keep our fingers crossed for both families of ours!

Applied 5th june
Approved 23 july
Want to apply for TRV as i want to visit my home country.
Visa application asks for following documents:
Work permit (supporting document)
Passport
Visa photo
Proof of medical
Do I have to wait for Work permit or I can use the confirmation document IMM5754 stating I got approved for work permit as supporting document.

On their website says they are working on applications from May 24 but still 51 days which is way more than that already

They were saying that there is no way you can contact them if they need something they will contact you, you just have to wait

if they are not following processing time then why they are declare specific time frame.
it almost 72 days .
i already sent 2 web forms didn't get any reply. yesterday i sent 3rd one.
dont have any other choice than wait
