Is it possible for an application to be under processing for more than 6 months? I have seen threads where ppl have been waiting for 14 months? How is that possible when the max processing time for an EE application is 6 months?
It is possible wher they have some doubtful documents n huge travel history... depends on the file n docs submitted...

Hi Eveline007, the 6 months period is not the max processing time but a quoted time interval during which most of the application gets processed.

Going by the current processing pattern where almost all single FSWO applications are still in IP1 do u think the processing might extend beyond 6 months even with proper documents and a not so long travel history?

After reading your post, at this stage, calling IRCC sounds the best

Ok thanks for the answer mate. So what should i tell them? Im sure they are going to tell me that my application has not finoshed the 6 months yet and that i have to wait...?
It completely depends on the kind of agent to which your call lands. Some of them are very helpful and provide a lot of information.
The stage at which you are, I do not think ordering GCMS notes would be the right thing to do, your PPR should come before the GCMS notes arrive

You should ask them about the status of the additional documents you sent and when they tell you that they are still under review, ask them if they have an idea why it is taking so long and if this is something that happens often. At least, that's how I would ask them if I were you :)

I was checking myimmitracker and found that, in July, only 8 single applicants of April AoR got PPR. ONLY EIGHT. Latest single applicant's AoR is April 17th. On a separate analysis, 46 Single applicants got PPR in July, regardless of AoR date. Fastest being 32 days from AoR date, and slowest is 491 days since AorR.

Apologies for a mistake. The above statement is not correct. The following is the updated one:

I was checking myimmitracker and found that, in July, only 5 single applicants of April AoR got PPR. ONLY FIVE. Latest single applicant's AoR is April 17th.
On a separate analysis, 34 Single applicants got PPR in July, regardless of AoR date. Fastest being 41 days from AoR date, and slowest is 405 days since AorR.
