It is possible wher they have some doubtful documents n huge travel history... depends on the file n docs submitted...Is it possible for an application to be under processing for more than 6 months? I have seen threads where ppl have been waiting for 14 months? How is that possible when the max processing time for an EE application is 6 months?
It is so unfair on CIC's part to discriminate against single applicants..As if we dont get enough from ppl around us...now putting up with this as well..not in my wildest dreams did i imagine my marital status would hamper my visa processing time to such a large extent..United we stand at IP1
Hi Eveline007, the 6 months period is not the max processing time but a quoted time interval during which most of the application gets processed. Is it possible for an application to be under processing for more than 6 months? Going by the current processing pattern where almost all single FSWO applications are still in IP1 do u think the processing might extend beyond 6 months even with proper documents and a not so long travel history?Hi Eveline007, the 6 months period is not the max processing time but a quoted time interval during which most of the application gets processed.

It completely depends on the kind of agent to which your call lands. Some of them are very helpful and provide a lot of information.Ok thanks for the answer mate. So what should i tell them? You should ask them about the status of the additional documents you sent and when they tell you that they are still under review, ask them if they have an idea why it is taking so long and if this is something that happens often. At least, that's how I would ask them if I were youOk thanks for the answer mate. So what should i tell them?
