without sop there is high chance you will get rejected.please do not do so.do not be depended on agent.Actually there are issues with my application and i would need to clear them in SOP, BUT agent is forcing me to not to submit SOP, or he will submit by his own.
Pls pass your suggestions.
Should i apply myself, will that make any difference?

Hello,
Thanks for your response,
So should i apply online?
Can i upload SOP there ?
yes you can its easy.Hello,
Thanks for your response,
So should i apply online?
Can i upload SOP there ?
Hey,Actually most of people including me here have applied by themselves either online or offline through an embassy
So you dont really have to rely on an agent to do that for you
However, you need to read, read, and read and get yourself familiar with the application beforehand. You can do that by reading the threads on this forum that explains visa rejection circumstancci
If you have any question about how to fill the application, im sure you'll find many good people here to answer it
Yes you can upload SOP online it has its own upload field
Whatever you do, do not lie about anything in your application or you will get banned from canada for the next 5 years
Hey,
Thanks, yeah I won't lie but please suggest me, I had backlogs in the diploma i completed here, should i mention backlogs in SOP or not ?
+ my Letter of acceptance having different program, actually suppose agent selected program X, university issued Letter of acceptance and later i emailed university and got it changed to program Y.
So letter of acceptance still having program X.
Should i contact them to issue a new one (which might be difficult) or it's ok with this one also.
Pls if possible help me on this.
Thanks in advance.
It isn't relevant at all- dont mention you have a study backlogs, this is irrelevant and may weaken your visa application, this is because the College you're applying to are the one concerned about backlogs and your grades NOT the visa officer.https://www.quora.com/Can-backlogs-affect-the-student-visa-chances-in-Canada
as long as you have an acceptance letter then you're good to go
- you should make sure that the course you're applying to is relevant to your previous studies ( also mention how its relevant in your letter of explanation) or you will surely get a visa rejection
- you must make sure that you're application is flawless, to do so, you need to request the new course acceptance letter and use it to apply, always assume that the Visa officer will check with your university. he/she may discover that you were not honest in your choice of program, therefore he might assume you're not a genuine student
my advise to you is to ask your college for a new letter of explanation, which should not take more than a week to do
It isn't relevant at alli previously did mechanical engineering, but i want to study further with computer field.
I'm having good enough knowledge in computers, and have worked with many companies as a freelancer would that work :/.
*worried now*
Thanks alot bro, yes i have diploma here, here it's of three years+backlogs and i have applied for diploma only but its of 2 years there.i've seen many cases here where visa officers reject visas due to unrelated courses, therefore, you will have a weak application ( they might think you just want to come to Canada by any means necessary and want to stay there illegally)
you forgot to mention if the course you're applying to is either a diploma or a bachelor degree because this affects your application, you stand a much better chance by opting for a degree equal or higher than the one you currently hold
for example: if you hold a bachelors degree and apply for a diploma.... your application is weak no matter if it a relevant course or not
if you hold a Bachelors degree and apply for a Masters degree .... your application is strong and it should be a relevant course
however, if you hold a DIPLOMA in mechanical engineering and now you're applying for a DIPLOMA in computers, and explain your choice in the letter of explanation, then your chances are much higher because its of equal degree ( irrelevant courses but similar degree types)
