1. suggest to make it consistent with your passport

3. highest educ lang ang actually kailangan na ECA. so kung bachelor grad ka na, no need for secondary.

4. some regulated occupations, kailangan muna ng yrs or training or apprenticeship (e.g. doctor's residency). kung walang ganun sa profession, then as good as qualified kung kailan naka graduate

5. until wala pa yung approval (PPR), yes major life events na possible maka affect sa score like paglipat ng work, kailangan inotify CIC.
Question po pala. So if i will add my middle name, which part ko po ito ilalagay? and after ITA, is there any field where we need to provide complete name again? I mean, kung saan kailangan ko input ang middle name ko.

for education history, so that means yung bachelor's degree ko na lang ang ilalagay ko, and no need for highschool details.

Thanks po ulet

Yes, but to say it's "not worth to try" (in your previous reply) would be to ignore any possibility or chance that could help one's application. Let us avoid singularity and instead do further adequate and solid research prior to saying such bold statements because it might rub people off the wrong way. :)
Well if you check my reply again, I did say "not worth to try IMO (in my opinion)" -- can't be any more obvious about that not being a "singular" info/fact, nor did I ignore the possibility of the entire reevaluation. Sorry for those not familiar with forum speak, although you can easily Google that.

Oh don't get me wrong, I've done my own share of research. Can't say it's solid, but it's my best effort, enough to get me here in Canada. It's out of gratitude to the others that helped me here before that I'm still spending time going back here every now and then.

Anyway, general reminder to all is that any information provided here are opinions and interpretations out of best intention and interest, but should never be taken as sole facts. Always do your own cross-referencing with the IRCC website. :)

Thank you Sirs @arthurmr and @ecdc_can for your inputs.

I initially tried WES online assessment tool and got the result right away by just entering the university/college name and degree. The result is same with the ECA report I got from them. It looks like known universities/college has exemplary results (5:5, 5:4, 4:4, 4:3), however, I only got 4:2 which is really disappointing.

It seems that WES based their assessment, I think, includes the university/college reputation itself plus the curriculum. Its a baseless assumption though.

Generally if a form does not have a separate middle name space/field, you can put it together with the first/given name. Key consideration is to be consistent with your passport.

For education, correct put your highest attained/completed education. If may option/space for adding your high school, no harm including that as well.

It's really just the curriculum. Most reputable schools do actually take time to follow international standards at least. Also, remember that generally the PH educ system is somewhat a modified American system. Meanwhile, Canada has a British educ system, which makes it even more challenging to match for PH schools, unfortunately.

I also read from other posts that WES counts the number of total units and that the standing of the institution matters e.g. if the institution has been accredited by an external body like PAASCU -- although those are purely speculation only, as WES hasn't really disclosed how they assess credentials. Do you consider going for re-evaluation?

I never meant any harm in my post and you should know that it was not an attack against you. To set the record straight, I know what imo means as I oftentimes use it myself. I missed out reading on that word and I am sorry.

I would also like to commend you for frequently dropping by the forums and sharing us your knowledge. Not many people are very keen on that idea, especially those whose egos have gotten in their way and I'm glad yours hasn't. Congratulations on reaching Canada! There are a lot of useful posts on your blog by the way. :)

Yes, but I am still thinking about whom I'm going for, IQAS or ICES. Fees are most likely the same, however, as what I've heard IQAS assess credentials painstakingly. As for ICES, I haven't read much about their assessment from Philippines applicants. Care to share more? :)

Hi hello~ after lurking in the forum and second-guessing myself, I finally took the plunge to begin my Canada migration process---I applied for WES ECA today and will begin requesting my schools to send my transcripts to WES. I know it's a very small thing as compared to other people's progress, but paying for that WES application really made me realize that committing to apply for migration is a really huge step. It's scary and at the same time exciting! Thank you everyone for encouraging hopeful migrants like me to try applying for PR~ super dami kong natutunan dito at nagpapasalamat ako sa inyo na walang sawang tumutulong sa mga nais mangibang-bansa. :)

By painstakingly do you mean that they have more stern and higher standards than WES or you simply mean the duration it takes for them to assess your credentials? What I would suggest you to do aside from the suggestion from Mr. Arthur, would be to ask around through Facebook. There are tons of Facebook groups you can join such as Pinoy to Canada and #PinoyCanada, and other non-Filipino groups such as Express Entry Law and Immigration to Canada. You can filter the posts there by using the search function. Should you not find the information you need, that will be the time you post an inquiry.

For several months of being a member in those groups, I have learned that IQAS and ICES are both more lenient than WES, unless you’re from ADMU, DLSU-Manila, or UP Diliman. Refer to my previous post in the page before this.

I'm referring to the duration of the assessment. Thanks for your input. :)

Hello po ulit, few questions lang sana. I have submitted my EE profile na, kaya lang 349 points lang ako kaya nag eexplore na ako ng opportunities for applying sa PNP for more points.

1. Pwede ba magkaron ng multiple active PNP application sa magkaibang provinces at the same time?
2. Regarding sa definition ng family/relatives specially for PNP applications, may option kasi for uncle. Pwede ba sa uncle ung kunware pinsan ng dad ko? For as long as makapagbigay ako ng proof of relationship namin, iaaccept un? If yes, may suggestion ba kayo ng pwedeng document na ibigay for proof of relationship? Pwede ba ung afidavit as a proof?
3. I have my IELTS results na, pero would it still help if magtake din ako ng additional na CELPIP and see if may chances na tumaas pa ung results ko for my language proficiency?

TIA! :)

hi. meron po ba sainyo na ang UCI# ay CAN0000XXXXXXXX?

from cic website:
This eight or ten digit number appears on all documents you get from us. It looks like this: 0000-0000 or 00-0000-0000.

nalilito kasi ako kung ito ba talaga ang UCI number.

may nabasa din ako sabi after ng medical pass nagbago.

meron po ba dyan maka confirm

Nag agency o consultant ka ba?

Next question is, has anyone received an NOI with an College Diploma (2 years) equivalency?
It happened a long time ago when OINP-EE was first launched because of bugs in the system, so when the applicants submitted, they were duly rejected because they didn't have bachelor's degree equivalencies--OINP's stand was that it's still the applicant's responsibility to make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements, and they're not sure to be accepted just because they got a NOI. Until OINP lowers the eligibility criterium for education, don't count on it.
