Hi all, I am in kind of dilemma here. Currently, I live in China and will move back to Canada early next month to commence my new job (I have a valid PGWP). Also planning to apply for PR as soon as arriving there.
The thing is, since I am now still in China, I think it might be a good idea to settle my police certification while I am still here, cos it would be a lot messy if requesting from Canada after moving back. But I notice that on CIC website it says for previous lived countries, the police certification must be issued after last lived there. So does that mean I have to request my police certification for China after I arrive in Canada? If that's case, it would literally cause me much more unnecessary work.
Hope someone can offer any advice. Thanks in advance!
