In the citizenship test invitation letter they have mentioned to bring some documents including one line that says:

All your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application form);

what does this actually includes? Please share your experiences specially in the Scarborough office.
When we had our test in Scarborough, there was a whiteboard and the following documents were listed on it:
- 2 pieces of ID (and remember PR card is not a piece of ID)
- PR card
- passports (including expired)
- Landing papers (CORP) <<< not sure for 100% if it was there, but I had one

they asked to show your ID and printed invitation letter to make sure you are a person who they invited. On the interview we weren't asked to show ANY of documents - not passports, not PR cards - nothing. Our officer had a file with our application and probably was able to compare us with the photos. But! people near us were asked to show their passports, and their officer was checking the stamps (I had maybe 15-20 stamps but nobody checked my passports)

Moreover, a clerk told us if we forgot anything "it could be fine - just explain your officer why you do not have this or that, you'll take the test anyway"

Hello Everyone, I have quick question: Me and my wife have been scheduled for the citizenship test on the 15th of may at the Scarborough location and we have a 1 year old for whom we are struggling to find any baby sitters. My question is can we take in our 1 year old to the test center for the test and interview?
Thanks A Lot!!
When we had our test I saw that some people were with their spouses who wasn't taking the test. They were told to sit quietly in the test room and wait. Probably if you have a stroller you could have your baby with you. Not sure for 100%, as the other people indicated - the letter says "no kids" - but I have a strong feeling you won't be sent home if you came with your child...

Actually, I've read on other forums that people who showed up with kids were not welcomed...

Maybe it is case to case, but our officer told us that we had gotten 20/20 both and that everything is fine with our application. He asked us to give him these green forms and that's it - no more documents. I had our passports, IDs, CORPs, PR Cards and language certificates prepared, but he didn't ask us about them. We had a short talk about our work, maybe 5 minutes - that's it

We had interview with I'd say middle aged woman. She was checking our passports, looking at stamps in my husbands' passports specifically, as she had question regarding one of his trips. She also asked for Driver's license and health cards. And looked at my marriage cert.
It was more like a chitchat than interview/interrogation and didn't feel awkward or anything. We were pretty much the last people in the room (one other guy was with the other officer) and we were wondering why, because we finished test within 5 minutes and all the people were going first, we thought we didn't pass... I got 20/20, my hubby got 19/20. Still not sure why our file landed at the very bottom of the pile
So I guess it depends from the officer. Better be prepared anyway and have everything that's mentioned to bring with.

It’s would of been so nice to be able to vote in this election but I guess it’s not in the cards.

I took my test on Saturday and was the last person into the room, but the first person to be called. I think they went in reverse order.

For me, the interview was very simple. It lasted less than a minute. They didn't look at any documents or ID except for my PR card. They asked me if I'd ever been self employed because I left that question blank on the application. Then they had me sign a form and that was it.

Congrats! Some people received invitation by mail. Maybe it's coming by post and you will get it soon?
