Hello Friends,

I won 2018 PGP
As part of Document Checklist (IMM 5771) ,
Supporting documents - Part A,
4. Proof of principal applicant's relationship to sponsor :
- Photocopy of the sponsor's birth certificate
But, I I don't have my birth certificate what else I can provide to prove the relationship between sponsor (myself-Canadian citizen) with principal application my father.
I was born in India and came to Canada an become citizen.

Thanks
Raj

I'm not an expert at this. Honestly, I would have the same problem, because I asked my parents to only courier the pages that need to be signed. Rest I printed here. But after reading your reply, it got me thinking. Now I'm asking them to courier entire forms, rather than just the pages to sign .. so it is consistent.

Although I wouldn't think that IRCC will be that picky. If they were, they would've stated so in the guide. But best to minimize risk.

Please remember, any advice on this forum is "use at your own risk".
I had the same problem and question. And decided to provide the originals as they are, as was advised by some forum member who have done the same for one of the previous rounds. It's not that bad, really.

What did you provide for your own PR application ? I recall birth certificate was a requirement when I had applied in 2013.

Hmm. I was thinking of using a blue pen, so it's easy to distinguish between photocopies/scans vs. real signatures. Did you already get AOR ?

I'm quite sure both colors are accepted.
No Photocopies.I submitted all reàl signatures.Yes I got AOR at 19th April.

Could be on passport application... I filled one in parallel, so these mixed in my head..
Nope.It is written down in the top of forms.probably in Imm5406 and 1344.

Hi
I have missed to mention names in native language, in form "Additional Family info" form. and submitted my application 2 days back.
Instructions Guide didnt mention anything on names in native language but its clearly mention on the Form itself.

Can anyone suggest, what should be the course of action now ?

Thanks
you can wait AOR to get file # and load a new form thru IRCC Webform

Hi zheka, Could you share in a bit more detail as to how did you go about it? What ia meant by "decided to provide the originals as they are". Please and thank you.

Hi All,

I have a question on PR Application for my mother-in-law

We don't have date of birth for my mother-in-law's parents, should we put * in the dob field?
NA

Thanks razerblade. I can correct and reprint that page, but the pages my mother signed and sent to me are different in quality and size. They use A4 size paper in that part of the world and here we have letter size. Even the printing quality of her forms is different as compared to the documents I printed here. So if I correct and reprint, my page will have a different size, page quality, and printing quality as compared to the rest of the pages in the forms. Would you please have a suggestion for me? Do you think IRCC staff will be so picky about the paper size and quality etc?

Second option is that I send the form as is (i.e. with the second checkbox selected). I meet the income requirements so I have a good feeling that I will be eligible. Your thoughts?
It is better to have different size in the paper.I got all the signature pages signed by my pareñts and rest was all here.i submitted with different sizes and got aor.So it shows the visa officer that you got thebsignature form real.

Hi All,

Could you please help on the below as i am just started my applications for parents sponsorship. Kindly help.

1) Do i need to submit two forms of imm1344e (Application to sponsor, sponsorship agreement undertaking) as i am filling for my father and mother. i hope father is principal applicant and my mother is his dependent. No you need to submit only one form where your and your dad's signature is required.
2) in imm0008 form, do i need to add my mother as dependent in my father's form and vice versa ( both are part of application). You need to submit only 1 imm008 form where your mom will be dependent in your father's application.
3) in imm0008 form, do i need to add my sisters as dependent where they are not part of application and both are older 30+.No as they are over 22 they are not dependents.
4) in imm0008 form, what will be intended occupation and current occupation as my father is retired and not going to work in canada. Not sure what to write.i wrote service as my father wants to work to be busy.
5) Also, Do i need to any other additional forms other than imm1344e, imm00008, imm 5669 and imm5406 form to get it originally signed by my father and mother. You need to submit 2 copies (one for ur dad and one for your mom) of imm 5669 and 2 copies (one for ur dad and one for your mom) imm 5406 withtheir original signature on it.

Please help!!!

Hi gst8486,

Thanks for your reply.

Can you give me (just an) idea for the content of affidavit for my birth certificate and also marriage certificate for my parents.

My Birth certificate related affidavit will be furnished my me (sponsor), is that correct?
and should my parents furnish one affidavit or they both should prepare their separate affidavits.

Thanks in Advance

The local magistrate from where your parents will be getting their affidavit done, will have a standard format for the purpose, but make sure the affidavit has their passport numbers (in bracket in front of their names) and its worth to add a statement saying 'Also, In our passports under spouse section, we have been listed as spouse of each other'. Also make sure the marriage date mentioned in the affidavit matches with the one mentioned in the application.

I think the birth certificate related affidavit has to be submitted by both you and your parents. I am not sure though, but to keep it on safe side, it won't be a bad idea to have two affidavits for that purpose. Make sure the birth certificate related affidavit mentions about your date of birth in your education credentials and your passport.

Could you please confirm that the date on the Schedule A form that you submitted is 02/2018 (bottom left of each page when you open the form) ?

The timestamp on the IRCC website shows june 2017 which is incorrect.
