I have finished my physical exam; however, I was asked if I have tried marijuana. I honestly answered during my highschool days. Now im anxious coz they required a psychiatric eval. Please help.

They would not have requested a psych evaluation for using marijuana. You must have other conditions/history indicating the need for the evaluation.

I'm scared whether or not this is like an automatic disqualification that i mentioned about the usage o f marijuana long time ago.

i second this. Marijuana use is common in Canada and like someone pointed out above, soon it will be legal. Did you mention anxiety or anything else to the doctor?

Thats insane. There is no way that can be an issue. There is places where the use of it in legal right now (usa) and its about to be legal in canada.

Do you have any other mental conditions and/or history of mental illness that you disclosed?

If not, then either you misunderstood what happened or the Panel Physician is not following the rules.
