Congratulations on the Supervisa! Can you share a list of documents you attached in the application? I am in a somewhat similar situation to yours and want to apply for a supervisa for my mother-in-law. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.
It seems like the biggest hurdle to pass is LICO. If you meet LICO you got 80% of case in your favor.
Apart from this what i recall of what we submitted was:
- property papers with engliah translation
- Business registration in english
- copy of their NICOPs and all their childrens NICOPs to show relation to country
- invitation Letter
- affidavit to suppprt them
- A letter from them showing their interest of coming here
- Stamped Affidavit from them promising to return
- their bank accounts
- our bank accounts
- My husbands PR card
- our job letters
- our T4s (because we hadnt filed taxes yet so no Notice of assessment)
- their nikkah nama with english translation
- birth certificate of my husband with english translation

Thanks.

Hello Everyone. Its been long since i was active on the forum. This place is wonderful i know. I need advise from experienced ones on below for super visa for my parents:

1. For LICO, is it fine if family income as per NOA is a little more than required, i mean couple of thousands (plus i am attaching current paystubs and employment letter which clear shows current income way more than whats required)?

2. Do we need to meet LICO income level only for super visa or its like sponsorship i.e LICO + some %

3. Is it worth it get pre-medicals done as i came across several comments that CIC usually asks for medical again later in application process

I am applying online and parents are in Pakistan. Would appreciate help on this.

The LICO figure is the minimum, and there is no penalty for being above it... being above is actually a good thing as it shows you are more than capable of supporting the person(s) being invited.

As a super visa is usually granted for a 2 year visit the first time... a Non EDE medical will be needed, doing it upfront is a good idea because it saves the waiting time although in most cases of an online supervisa application they would most likely receive a medical request within a week...

Hi Everyone, Do we really need to attach Option Documents - Schedule 1 - Application for TRV made outside Canada (IMM5257) while applying online.

Also i tried uploaded signed and scanned application form online (IMM5257) but its not accepting. Then i uploaded unsigned and unscanned original form completed in pdf and it was accepted. Is that normal?

Schedule 1 is under optional forms but instructions say you must attach it. Not sure what to do. Please advise. Thanks.

Yes it's normal, you don't need to scan when applying online. It will ask you to enter full name as electronic signature.before submitting the application

There is no harm in submitting schedule 1.

Thanks. I submitted my application today including schedule 1. So just praying now that everything goes well as they have been refused at least 2 visit visas and 1 super visa.

Applied on 23march but nothing as of today.
I applied for normal visit visa for my father on March 3, biometrics done on March 6 and haven't heard anything after that although processing time for trv is 18 days

Hi Everyone, I have a question, I am finishing my school and looking for a job. How long after I acquire a job with the salary higher than the minimum cut of level, I can apply for the super visa? Do I need to wait a full year to get Notice of assessment from CRA to apply or employment letter will be ok?

Do you think saving in bank and property in Canada make any effect or it's only important to have NOA?

I heard they will process supervisa in 4-6 weeks its being 4 weeks I didnt heard back from embassyband somewhere on forum I read if they want to give negative they would have given it in a week or two they wont take long is that means chances of approval increase as time passes???
