I applied for the super visa of my mother in April 2025 and her insurance will be active from Jul 15, 2025. She hasn't received visa to travel yet. Therefore I have to postpone the activation date for her insurance to avoid extra charges. However the policy number will remain same. Should I inform IRCC?

No need.

It's a common and well-known practice and IRCC is aware of it. No problem.

I applied for super visa in June 2025 at that time processing time was 84 days, now it's 153 days approx. Application is still in progress
My concern is about the insurance, as insurance start date is from 15 oct which is like a week from now, should i change the effective date of insurance and submit it via web form?
Some are saying no need to do that
