Yes it's the same thing. We ordered a hard copy just in case and it was the exact same thing as the electronic copy.

Yes using eDO will be much quicker. That's what my husband did. As for a place, we used FIPS. They have a location in brampton which is great! They also have a Toronto location in North York.
thank you so much for your reply I will check this place out - FIPS North York for finger printing.

Hi I live in Atlanta. I am in the express entry pool and I do expect to get ITA by May (Being positive ! )
I have heard that the FBI PCC takes time.... Can anyone please guide me through the process.

I am on h4 and have applied as a single applicant

What was the price?

It was $45.20 for the FBI prints.
Nice, can I get the address? I live in Brampton and my hubby is staying with me and he may need to get them again his old fbi expired like a few days after we sent and they may ask for a new one.

My husband got his prints done, overnighted them, did the online application (you have to send a copy of your confirmation with your prints in the envelope) for their e-portal and the day after they received his print card we had his PCC in our email.

So what I gather from the discussion here is I can simply use https://www.edo.cjis.gov/#/ to get the PCC instead of going through the traditional route of mailing them everything as for Edo it will most likely take only 7 days as compared to 4 months.
Am i right in understanding this and for those who have submitted the PCC from Edo has it worked fine?

Yes but you still have to MAIL in the fingerprint card. We had my husband's PCC the day after they received his fingerprint card.
