I am still waiting for updates. My colleague went through the interview and she got PPR in a week after interviewing by CIC.

I applied after her on 18th Jan 2018 and I am still waiting. As there aren't any updates after my medical and it's been more than one and the half month now.

I am sharing my timeline here;

Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Is there anything suspicious? Why is being late in the process?

I think the difference between yours friend submission date is the reason.
I think your file will take same time as of your friend.

If they ask for RCMP which I produced and is cleared . Does that mean PPR is afterwards ? Does that mean everything else was reviewed?

PPR is after everything is reviewed and background check completed. Asking for RCMP does not necessarily mean everything else was reviewed, but it does mean they found rest satisfactory to go ahead for RCMP as per my understanding. You should be almost there. Posting my latest update below. Hopefully that will help.

Can someone tell how long will it take at all after the medical examination is completed? I really want to see my parents in home country but very anxious that while I am visiting my home country they will request something or PPR. :( Please suggest and give me roughly waiting time! Thanks a lot.
PS. I will be doing medical examination next week ( inland applicant)

What kind of documents did they ask you? I assume they asked for additional documents after when you were completed your medical exams and updated?

Excuse me if I sound like a noob here, but is AOR date the date you receive the ITA?
Don’t worry, we all were in your shoes when we started (no idea what all these abbrevations meant!)

ITA (Invitation to Apply) is when CIC invites you to apply for Permanent Residency based on the information (and docs) you provided for calculating the score.

After that, we will need to provide more documents (such as Police Certificates, full travel & address history, etc) and apply for Permanent Residency. This is what CIC calls a complete application package.

Once the application is submitted, CIC will send a confirmation that they have received your application. This is called AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt). Most of the timelines are calculated from when you get AOR, i.e when CIC has officially received your application.

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me!
