Hi all,
Heartiest congratulations to all those who have already received their PPR and good luck to them who all are waiting. I appreciate your patience. Friends, I have a question. My husband received PPR mail on 15th of March. We are based in Delhi, but have been asked to submit our passports in Ottawa. Our consultant said to wait for two more days as they generally issue a new mail and then give access to India's VPS office. We have not yet received it. Did anyone else faced the same situation? If yes! How much time it takes for the next email to generate on their end. Also, if we have to submit it to Ottawa office, how much time it takes to reach there and whate are the procedures involved.

Your help will be truly appreciated.

Thanks
Hey,
First of all you cannot send your passport outside the country, Exception is for (USA-CANADA) and this would also be written on your email. So Basically you require change of Visa Office. Drop an email to CPC Ottawa stating that you reside in India and are not legally entitled to send passport outside the country. Do mention in Subject line *Urgent*. IF they do not reply in 2 - 3 days followup on the email and later call CIC.

I did the same and got reply from New Delhin in 4 Business days.

"Our consultant said to wait for two more days as they generally issue a new mail and then give access to India's VPS office" this is nonsense and you should not blindly trust consultant. You have 30 days to send your passport.

That's great, thanks for keeping track! :)

If I were you I'd definitely order notes to find out what's holding up the application, considering it's past the average processing time of 6 months. Also send an CSE/IRCC Webform.

We have sent CSE and are regularly in touch with them via email. We didn't get a reply for CSE raised in November.

Our Additional documents changed to Not Required on 27th Feb so donno what has happened post that.

They have replied each time we have emailed except this time (emailed again on 15th March) .

Since they have replied to our emails we never felt the need to order GCMS notes but let's see this time. We will wait till April and then order.
