So you have CLB9+ and one (or is it two?) Bachelors degree. You should therefore be eligible for 25 points under skill transferability but EE system has not given this?
No, actualy I have three CLB10 and one CLB9 on listening, but I do not have Masters degree. At the moment I have 422 points alone and 417 with spouse, so I have two options, one more degree or French. For me, French would take longer. However, I cannot be sure about CIC, they might change their points system as soon as I get qualifications. It happened to me a few times already, that as soon as I get almost everything done concerning my immigration plans, something changes all of a sudden :)

Yes
Thank you for your reply BEA 78:). I was a bit worried as CIC is not so clear in this respect on their official site, to be more precise, they do not specifically mention Masters degree (diploma) anywhere. Here is the relevant section:

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.
Important notice: One must be for a program of three or more years.

ECA assessment results:

A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree

PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or:

  • Post-Bachelor's Certificate
  • Post-undergraduate certificate
  • Post-Bachelor's Diploma
  • Post-undergraduate diploma
  • Graduate Certificate
  • Graduate Certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
  • Postgraduate certificate
  • Postgraduate Diploma
  • Graduate Diploma with a focus in [area of concentration]
  • Graduate diploma
  • two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in [name of discipline]
  • two-year Bachelor’s after degree with a focus in [area of concentration]
  • one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]
  • Dual Bachelor’s degree (four years)
I guess that description is only for the core points in education? Anyway, I can confirm that they do give you the 50 points because my husband has a bachelor's and a master's, CLB 9 and his profile has the 50 transferability points.

If we apply for re-evaluation for IELTS , can we still update scores in profile with current TRF coloured photocopy ?as we have to send original TRF for re-evaluation, IF answer is yes, and if we get ITA before re-evaluation results, can we still use coloured photocopy while submitting documents ? Please advise experts

Don't worry they won't change French bonus points anytime soon, they are investing bunch of money to attract french speaking community into English speaking zones in Canada
You may do one year diploma if that's cheap, or you can do TEF Canada preparation course and in 6-9 months you will knock down CLB7 easily
good luck!

No you cannot use the original TRF for ITA, while on EOR. This will be clearly mentioned on the EOR (re-evaluation) guidelines email that you had received from your test center. This is the worst part about EOR, you need to wait until the decision is made by your test center on your EOR, until then your original TRF is invalid.

Hi all this is my analysis, I would welcome your thoughts on this, in 2018 CIC requirement is 310000 individuals, each EE profile is roughly having 3 to 4 members so the number 74900 ITA's to be issued. This shows minimum 60000 more profiles has to be selected. Seeing the current trend I am sure EE profile with only 1 member is quite high as their scores are generally higher and age is lesser. (This trend shows many young single professionals are in the pool)So we should be optimistic as more than 74900 ITA would be issued. As per my calculations it should be somewhere around 85000. So the draw size is bound to get bigger along with higher frequency resulting in the CRS to fall in 430s.

310000 includes all the streams. Only the Federal skilled and PNP applicants go through the Express Entry system.

Early 30s + At least 8 years of experience sounds like a norm bachelor graduate only. You can always improve the score by taking up master. Most of the youngsters don't have that exp points to begin with.
Not true.
I'm 30. Masters. I'll complete 8 years of experience this July.
