How do you know you are in 1p2 both ip1 and ip2 seem the same don't they
Hi there

The wording of the background check status will change from "we will let you know when your background check will start" to "your background check is under process". These are not the exact words though, I applied 7 months ago and can't remember exactly, but you can perhaps find more info on the sticky threads.

What was your detailed timeline, if you don't mind? :)
Can't remember precisely to be honest.. but roughly if I am correct:
AOR: 12 August, IP1:23 August, no NA2 (although I checked), IP2: 6 November, PPR: 9 November
edit: I also got an ADR on 24 August - submitted on 30 August
edit 2: 2 persons on my application, 3 PCCs each and over 50 travel lines each

I just got off the phone with a CIC agent. He told me I already passed elegibility although my CIC profile still shows im in IP1 stage.

@sid8tive

Guys I just called a CIC agent. First she was very nice and tried to help as much as possible.

Now, she said that our PCC's (that were not submitted upfront) were checked and were fine. Now I should be waiting for the background check and security check to be start. It is up to Ottawa CPC to start with which one.

She insisted that the system may not be detailed but is definitely updated to reflect reality.

I think this is NA2. Do you agree?

That's Great!
Yes, it should be NA2 and IP2 should be right around the corner.
Good Luck!

I'm waiting for tomorrow's site "maintenance update" ;) Hopefully that will push things along as well. Respose to my CSE at least tells me my PCCs were accepted. Good enough for now. If things drag on further, I may call in the next few weeks. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that. Also, I should have my GCMS delivered later this month too.

I had no idea that the system maintenance is related to this :D. I thought it was connected to the express entry draw LOL.

Last week's IP2 flood happened right when the maintenance window closed :)

Here's what I got back from CPC today: "The final eligibility assessment has not yet been made." - What does that mean? I know it means eligibility is not passed yet, but does it imply "recommended pass"?

Thanks, but not sure what that status even means :)

I emailed them. Couldn't get through while trying to call due to high call volumes.
