Hello Everyone,
I have a US visa that is stamped on my current passport.
On question no. 14. a) Have you held travel documents and or passport during your eligibility period?
Do I need to write it down (both the US visa and my passport), on the TABLE A. of question no. 14.

Thank you
The visa is not a travel document. Travel documents are passports or special travel documents issued to refugees and stateless people. "Travel Document" is not meant in a general sense for this question but in this narrow sense.

If this is just a tourist visa, you don't have to list it anywhere. If this is a visa to work, study or live in the US, you have to mention it in the section about the immigration status you held in other countries.

Hi All,

Somebody in the forum got AOR yesterday (Feb 05,18) and his application was received on Jan 02,18.
However, I called CIC today & they confirmed that they are working on December 8, 2017 applications.
Why is there so much conflicting information?
Is there a possibility that CIC is working on new applications & clearing the backlogs at the same time?

Some informative insight on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

You don't have to mention 2017 since they want to see any three consecutive years. As for me, I picked another route. For 2017, I have selected YES for 'Required to file' and NO for 'Taxes Filed'. Then included a small paragraph in my letter of explanation saying that I'll bring the 2017 NoA for my test appointment. Problem solved! :)

Either way works fine ;)

Good luck!

Kal
I checked the same thing but I have no explanation letter

Hi Guys I’m planning to submit family applications Feb 11, 2018 from calgary
However I have serious questions that I am having a conflict with

1- During your eligibility period did you live out side Canada ? Yes I lived outside Canada but I don’t know the crown servent form doesn’t applies to me ?
So shall I check yes or No

2-Do we have to mention family Visits to outside Canada Addresses & location In number 10

3- Employment and education history should we also mention the visit / vacation dates
3 - shall we put the Dates in Ascending or descending order?

Please advise

Thank you
