Hi all,
I have a quick question I am an inland applicant (Sydney Nova Scotia)
I sent my documents last year 5th May 2017
AOR 27th July 2017
No MR yet
They sent a document asking for the payment on 4th of August 2017 and I did the payment online and uploaded the receipt on the same day (They give only 7 days to do it otherwise they send your application back)
Since August I didn’t hear anything back from them and it says my application is in progress and they are doing security check.
Yesterday this message showed up in ECAS:
3. We sent you correspondence on August 3, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
Do I need to send email or call them to check if they received my payment receipt or not? Or shall I just wait? I am a bit confused
On my online application i can see my uploaded document (receipt) as supporting document
I didn’t find an email where I can ask and it is not a technical issue so I cannot report it via e-forms as well

Yes I think you should call them and told them that you didn't receive. Then you will check the date it was sent , that they have your correct adresse . If they have it, ask them why you didn't receive it .
It is realluy really important to check that they are sending things to the right address mail .Because one of my knowledge lost more than 6 months because of that . After 13 months without MR , she called and start asking question , and then they told her that they were using the wrong addres , even if she gave the right one and she receive her AOR on the right one. Thgey apologized , but it is late ... She has to wait to go throught the rest of the process .
I don't think that it is related to the payment . I think that , the documents could be a request to submit further documents . As it happened to me .

A CIC agent told me that every time I ask for my notes ,it extents the processing time of my application. Is somebody noticed it ?

This is not correct. I requested GCMS notes twice and it did not impact my timelines.
I do not know the distinction between the two. Both times I received pdf files with 40-50 pages.
Please did you choose " the application, supporting documents and correspondences sent to and/or from IRCC for the permanent residence file concerning ........ or did you choose " Electronic notes " . The first one is the phisical files by pdf , the second one , you will just find the notes of the agent nothing about your own information
It happened to me everytimes . You have to keep triying . Usually I try 5 times before succesfully loging
