Hey guys! I applied in March 2017 and got my AOR on the 23th of March, was ecstatic about that! Then I was requested to do my Medical around June and sent all the info in the same month. Then there was a whole 8 months of silence and now I'm being requested to send my Schedule A form before the 9th of February. Is anyone else stuck in this kind of situation? 10 months in and 2 months left stressing about if everything is going to be completed in time!

I live in Toronto on PR and we are planning to send the inland spousal sponsorship application for my wife. She currently lives with me on open work permit (she studied here and received three year OWP). She is 1 month pregnant now and I hope the medical request will be before she gives birth and we will have to delay it due to the X-ray problem. Do you think I should include a note regarding this in my application package informing them about the pregnancy?

My partner is the sponsor. Here is the update that I and my partner got from on-line services
-CIC received the app (inland, common law) on Jan 29,2017.
-Sent acknowledging receipt of app on Mar 17, 2017
-Med exam received in July 2017
1 My representative said because we are applying after Dec 2016. So we don't have to send schedule A and police check with the original application until we receive the request from CIC.
CIC sent incomplete schedule A or IMM5406 email to my representative in May 2017. We submitted the form through case inquiry right after one week.
However, CIC didn't send any request about the police check so far. I asked him to send the police check by ourselves on Sep 2017 since we have it done on 2016 before we prepared the application. Would that be acceptable that we send the police check without they ask first?
2 my representative is really old fashion. He didn't know how to use an online account. I cannot link the application by myself because I have a representative. I called CIC, the rep said the only is to remove him first and then re added. It’s almost 1 year now, I am kind of afraid if I made any changes it will slow down the process. Did anyone have a similar situation but got a better solution? Now I can only check on-line services, but it’s not really showing anything. I didn’t get any new update since last June 3027. It still showed started to process the application and medical exam received.
3 my Canadian visa (got the visa when I am a student here) expired last year June. I was going to apply another one but my agent told me I don't have to because right now I have my work permit (3 years) as long as I don't go outside of Canada than its okay. He said if apply one, its kind raise CIC; s concern of why I am apply a visa since I’m applying for PR now. So I don't have a valid visa now to exit Canada.
So right now I am kind of on the stage that I can only wait for email from CIC or I have to call them to check the status. I called two weeks ago to ask do I miss any docs. The Rep told me nothing was required at this stage. They are still working on the background check. But it’s almost a year; I’m not sure why they are still working on the background check. Is that normal?

Did you send your schedule A and PCCs when you got your AOR in March by uploading to online account or sending through webform/mail?
My timeline is similar to yours. Sent in my application in the beginning of March and got my AOR in the beginning of apr. they requested for my such A 8 days after my AOR tho and received my med request in July. I guess each agent processes it differently. My application would definitely be delayed a lot if they only requested for my sch A now since it takes a long time for my country to process a police clearance certificate for my parents.

I just checked and saw that the the background check changed from Not Applicable to "We are processing your background check". I didn't receive any email about it so I was not sure when it changed. I saw a couple of people have a date for when their background check started. How do I check to see when my background check started?
What's next? Medical request? usually how long does it take to go from background check to medical request?
My sponsor still didn't receive any AOR yet. Is it normal?

When did you apply? I applied in March 2017 and my sponsor hasn’t gotten any AOR yet. When I called CIC, they just said it is still within processing time and everything’s in order.

I link my aaplication and upload my schedule A and police certs jan 24 . the details still says " Your Action Required"and Now after 3 days the " Review of Additional Documents change from "We need more addition duc. to continue processing your application To " We do not need Additional Documents. but details still say " Your Action is Required" .. im confused.. is this normal? or I need to call them ?

Is the sponsor AOR emailed to the PA's email address?

Same happened to me. I received both principal applicant and sponsor AOR email.
