That is some great advise, thank you I may have to even though I work from my phone and it’s glued to me 24/7!!!!! I will try and calm down a smidge I am just so ready for the next steps, kind of like everyone else waiting for anything lol
I am a May 1st applicant and have yet to receive my medical request. So frustrating!
My visitor visa was expired on Oct, I applied for visa extension on Aug but I haven't heard any news from it. However, I got OWP on Dec, so I guess I can consider it as a temporary visa to go out and in Can, am I correct?
If you have received your OWP, then you should cancel your extension application as a visitor - you don't need it! You might get refund if it hasn't been processed. The OWP is not a visa to travel outside Canada and you cannot use it to re-enter Canada. With this OWP you should apply for Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) online through MyCIC and ensure that you have received the visa sticker in your passport before you leave Canada. This only applies to you if you are a visa national. Otherwise, you might have to simply apply for e-TA or can re-enter with the OWP if you are US citizen.
I would try!! Make the payment and submit the proof by uploading the receipt to your account. Hopefully they accept it and don't send it back, I've had mine returned and still waiting to link to my account (originally submitted with Spousal Sponsorship app on Sep 5, returned to Vegreville office on Nov 15..)
