Im so sorry your going to a full hearing. I am too but at my ADR i was told i will get a date by next year around November. I hope , so im going back home to be with my husband in the new yesf until then.

Yup. The person I spoke to said it would take 18 months so early 2019. I hope it is sooner. They need to do something about the backlog and the lack of counsel staffing at the immigration appeal board.

I am very sorry for your situation. Unfortunately, there is pretty much waste of your time to appeal. Your husband has been banned for 5 years, until then (2021), there is impossible for him to come to Canada.
A lot people don't understand that it is rarely accepted as a valid argument such as "I made an honest mistake" or "My lawyer made mistake". To the eyes of CIC, you, the applicant, who signed the forms, will be 100% responsible for all the information filled in your application. DON'T EVER LIE TO CIC, OR YOU SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES.
Especially for those that had visa denial histories with USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and England, those countries share immigration information with CIC.

In our case we were denied solely on (marriage not genuine) so me and my wife decided to go with a lawyer so he helped us prepare and so we appealed now we decided to terminate his services base on what we read on this forum that it’s a waste of money hiring a lawyer and which we also know buh our concern now is how to address the concerns of the VO so plz who ever think he/she can help plz send me a private message so I can share with you the concerns of the VO and you can give your opinion on how we can address them. There is a correspondence sent us on 5th December but we didn't get any email yet. yesterday I was able to link up my application with GCkey but there is nothing about 5th Decembers correspondence. If anything sent on 5th December then it should be there in linkfile messages right? Or GCkey messages showing information from the date application linked up? Please let me know if anybody have an idea. Thanks..

I Applied on 30th August,2016 under SINP-OID(paper based). Recently, i got married and i want to add my spouse to my application which is under process.

SINP Timelines:-

Applied on :- 30th Aug,2016
Medical Request on :- 8th June,2017
Medical Passed:- 14th June,2017

My background check is not started yet.

Can anyone tell me how my spouse will be add to my application?
Which will add my spouse New Delhi Visa Office or CIC?

Hi Ankush,

All you have to do is refill certain forms along with documentary proofs, like marriage certificate, photos, of wedding and honeymoon, etc, and send it across to New Delhi VO, saying updated forms with updated status.

I'm happy to give some tips.....I won my appeal by evidence alone.....the officer read our file in advance and the evidence supported and approved the appeal right away and cancelled the ADR....she told me I supported myself really well in evidence. So I'd be happy to help you strategize
