stuck at 388.....took ielts twice, but one of the four modules goes wrong, especially the reading module. If I can get CLB9 I can jump up to 464.Would anyone recommend me where can I get IELTS material so I can improve my reading.

don't loose hope, I HAD TO TAKE IELTS 5 times to get the magic score, try hard and you will get it.

I had responded to this theory earlier. Let me do it in simple language again.

Q. Let's say CIC realized that they invited more than the required numbers in the 1st half of 2017 (overheating), what would they ideally do?
Ans. Control the number of invites in such a way that they don't cross the target by end of 2017 (This is the reason why there is no fixed dates for the draws and no ITA targets)

ITA targets can be altered in any way as the end goal for CIC is to meet the immigration targets for that particular year.

So, if they had issued 48K invites by May and then felt the target was supposed to be 69K, the solution would be to invite only 21K (69K-48K) folks in the next 7 months (from June to December) which means they should have done 2 draws every month with around 1500 ITA's.

Q. Instead, why did CIC issue 2750 and not 1500 ITAs with which they could have easily met the 69K target?
Ans. The answer is simple because the target was not 69K ITA's. They did compensate by reducing the ITA's issued in each draw. Also, it means the actual target that CIC intended was 85K and not 69K.

This is the reason why there is every reason to believe the 2018 targets would be around 85K ITAs and depending on the number of draws (approx. 24 to 28) the average should be around 3000-3500 ITA's.

I hope this is a logical explanation.
Thank you for the explanation. Yes, your view makes a lot of sense and looks very promising.
I was just worried that mitigation of the overheating effect wouldn't be conveniently spread over a longer period than half a year. Well, at least it will get clear soon, the year 2018 is almost here.

Hi Friend,

please tell us how you selected process you followed? Do we need to do something or themeself will pick our profile from Express entry profile?

Any prediction about the next draw? Could it happen today? And could there be 2 more draws this month? How many ITAs are left?

Is pf from my spouse and me is also acceptable ?
Yes, if your wife is accompanying you, it's acceptable.
In short, if the account bears applicants (pri+sec) name it's accpetable, else, it isn't. What officer bothers is that, can be amount be liquidated? Is that an applicant's account? does the amount inscribed were not loaned? If the answers were yes, you are good to go.

When will they update the crs score in EE profile ? It is my birthday today and i am at 430. Will loose 6 points.

At 424, I don't see hope till February at least. If I get ITA at 430 today by mistake, I should decline it ?

HI everyone,

I am thniking about opening my CIC account and enter into the pool by today. Considering that we might have a draw within the next 12 hours, if i open my profile within 2 hours time, will i be eligible for the ITA if the CRS came to be below my CRS?

& I am a little confused about my NOC, so even if I might change my NOC after getting the ITA, will it make my case a little complex?

waiting for a quick reply from the eminent would be Canadian immigrants : )

thanks. is there also a chance that your writing score can go down?
I'm not sure but it's highly unlikely that your score will go down.

One more thing I forgot to mention is that you cannot officially use your IELTS result while it is under revaluation. Like I said earlier, it takes 8-10 weeks. This means, you cannot get an ITA on your current CRS score while your IELTS test is getting revaluated, even if the cut-off is below your score.

My suggestion to you, again, would be to just wait for a while. You should get an ITA earlier than you would get your IELTS revaluated, if you choose to go for it.
