I got this letter in the mail from cic
This refers to your application PR under the S-or-CL partner in Canada class.in order to becomea PR under the S or CL partner in Canada class, you must comply with all the requirements ...

Before a final decision can be made on this application an interview with you and your sponsor is required to update and clarify information you provided in your application.you and your spouse are required to attend at the location, date and time indicated below

Please bring the following with you to the interview
Your PP and any document issued by immigration canada
Proof of entry to canada
Your sponsor PP and status in Canada
T4 slip and notices of assessment issue BY CRA for you and your spouse for 2015, 2016
Marriage certificate (original )
Birth certificate of any children
If renting bring rental agreement; if own the tittle to the mortgage
Bank letter for all accounts you and/or your spouse may have, reflecting the names of the holder (s)
Bank history statementreflecting transaction for the past 24 months for all accounts .
Any other information or documentation you wish to be considered
Has anyone received such?
That looks like a "relationship interview", however it might just be a Quality Assurance interview. They likely want to check that you are in a genuine relationship and that you are cohabiting. In addition to the list, I would recommend you to bring any bills that have both of your names on it. Bring also documents that span in time up to 2 years ago.
If it's a relationship interview, be ready for some very personal questions, but just answer truthfully and you should not have any problem. If it's a QA interview, that will go very smoothly.

I agree with @sylvain1. The evidence they are requesting you bring does seem to be a relationship interview. By the evidence, it would seem they are focused in on financial relations or interdependence.

Did you already have AIP? If so, then it's a QA interview.

Hi guys I need your opinion about my situation. I am applying my inland sponsorship this Month I have few concerns about this.

I have a student permit since May 2016 and will expire on August 2018. I never enrolled in any school due to budget issues. I did work but only for a month and I quit right after I realized that I can only work if I am enrolled in a DLI.

1. Will this be an issue if I apply for an inland sponsorship?

I read in the CIC website that the Open Work Permit pilot program will end this December 21, 2017.

2. If they receive my application before that date, will I be able to get an Open Work Permit while my application is still on going?

Thank You

So your question asks how many -- I only know of two countries that your partner has lived in: her country of origin, and Canada.

She will need to submit a PCC for every country she has lived in for more than 6 months, EXCLUDING Canada. If they explicitly ask for fingerprints, that will serve as a PCC for Canada. If they have not explicitly asked, then no fingerprints required.

Regarding Family: Anyone who is included in the application will have to submit PCC's. So, that would be dependents seeking PR's. Anyone not seeking PR's do not need to supply PCC's.
Thanks a lot profiler!

At this time, you need to provide a police certificate for:
1) The country where you currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more;
and
2) The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18.

So yes, she only has lived in Peru before she moved to Canada a year and a half ago. Since in the letter says any country you have lived more than 6 months including your current country, that is why i got confused.

Also, it says:

You must also provide this for every family member (whether accompanying you to Canada or
not) who is aged 18 or older.

i.e. spouse, common-law or dependants.. that me, common law... i have live in Canada most of my adult life so do i have to submit one?

Thanks a lot for your help!

For Canada, they ask RCMP directly. If they need fingerprints to verify identity, they will ask for those. Otherwise, exclude Canada.

For you, the sponsor, nope -- they know who you are. You were granted a PR at some point, so, they already know you.

Hi guys! After months of reading this thread I might be able to bring in something new! I got this email from IRCC literally 5 minutes ago. Is it normal?

We have selected you to be part of a new initiative that allows you to confirm your permanent residency via telephone. This new method allows you to obtain your permanent resident status without the need to physically go to a local IRCC office for an appointment.

Details:
Your interview will last approximately 15 minutes and is scheduled to take place on December 18th 2017 between 12:30p.m. and 3:30p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Please note that this interview is only possible if you are inside Canada and if your sponsor is with you when we will call you.

If this date or time does not fit your schedule:
  • Please disregard this email.
If you receive this invitation but have already scheduled an interview at a local office, please disregard this email.

If this date and time does fit into your schedule:
  • Please Respond within 48 hours to this email (email address) to confirm your availability.
  • Should you respond after 48 hours, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Once you have confirmed your availability, your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) will be sent to you by mail with further instructions.
  • During the timeslot for your interview, please ensure you have a quiet space, your CoPR, your valid passport and a black pen.
  • If there is more than one person on your application and they are physically located in Canada, please ensure they are with you for the interview.
In your response, you must provide the information requested in the table below:

First name
Last name
Application number
Address
Telephone number in Canada
Language preference
Do you have a valid passport in your possession?
Do you want to add new dependents in your application?

Quite interesting to see this actually because I have always imagined my landing to be in a landing office!

Unlikely the OWP program will end. Can you provide a link to that statement?

WRT your study permit: it's uncertain. I doubt it's a big deal. Just don't lie about it. They might ask. Yes you can have more than one permit.
