Are you advising people to send another citizenship application, lets have patience please
Sometimes people complicate their own affairs and make things worst for themselves, because of lack of patience or they don't know how cope with things beyond their control.

To people who’s Applications are delivered on 13 October
We have been seeing that CIC is sending AORs to application that have been received after 13 of October. Instead of individually following our cases I suggest that all of us need to call CIC next week together and Enquire why we have not been sent AOR while applications delivered weeks after ours receive AOR. If we all call CIC at once, next week, I am sure they will take action. Any suggestions and do you know any specific number that we all should call?
My friend I delivered on October 13 as well but it turned into unlucky 13.

Yes giving call will be a good idea but problem is there is 50 minutes wait time. 2 days back I called according to the agent their system indicating they are working on October 10 application. Don't know what to believe. It is indeed frustrating.

What mistakes are you talking about here, did they commit ever that they will process the applications in a particular timeline
For what it's worth, their website as well as their facebook reply does indicate that applications are processed in the order they are received. Clearly that's not the case. Nothing we can do about it, we're at the mercy of the IRCC agents in Sydney.

I think we all need to call and at least bring this issue into their attention. I will try next week and I hope other do it too. If all of us call CIC at once then they will pay attention.

You would probably get the same response that i did on facebook. But do let us know if otherwise.

CIC office Refugee Processing, Phone +1 888-242-2100

Here's a screenshot of their response:

Thanks for the number. Yes, we all may get same response but if we all call them and Enquire about same issue then they may discuss the issue with their top management and will take action.

Waste of time!!!

Phone agents have very limited information about such issues. They will just read a script and if you get hostile, you will be warned, then hang up on you. It's written on their website as it pertains to AOR: "There may be a delay between the date we receive your application and the date we open it."
We do not need to be hostile, we will just say my application was delivered on 13 October but I am still waiting for AOR while my friends application was delivered on 16,17 or 18october and they got AOR. What is the reason, we can request CIC to raise this issue in their office.

What mistake? So far no applications from late Oct and early Nov have received AOR, and the number of AOR have been going up everyday for applications delivered between 12-16 - that means they are working on it, what else do you expect?
There is a mistake, CIC says they review applications based on arrival dates but now 16,17 and even 18 October application are receiving AORs while application delivered on 11,12 and 13 still wait for AOR. We are happy for those who already got AOR but we need answers from CIC.

I am very sure that before you make that call on Monday you will get your AOR, then I will know if you will still go ahead and make the call on behalf of the other 13ths

You won't get any interesting information out of that phone call, guaranteed. They won't say "oh, that's Bob, we call him the slow-cooker, cause he is the slowest at opening his envelopes."

What kind of information would you think you get out of this anyways?

There is only one appropriate thing to do after submitting your application: Wait at least 2-3 months. If by then nothing has happened, you might want to consider some action.

Don't start comparing yourself with others who submitted some days before or after you. That's like waiting in line at the supermarket and always checking if one of the other lines is going faster. Except in this case it is worse since you can't change the line even if you wanted to.

Please link a page where it says that CIC reviews applications "based on arrival dates".

They only say that they are processed in the order of arrival, but that is just a rough statement. The piles of incoming mail are assigned to different case workers, all working at different speeds.

No, you don't need answers from CIC. What you need is patience.

Please look at the spreadsheet for applications in the past. It has never been the case that CIC processed applications strictly by incoming date.

“Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.”
They are mostly self centered and suffer from instant gratification syndrome:"desire to experience pleasure or fulfillment without delay or deferment."Basically, it's when you want it; and you want it now.
I feel that if you can't handle a month wait without losing your freaking mind, what can you handle?

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I highly appreciate it and I know you are a good advisor in this forum. Today some one posted this in this thread, please see the last paragraph. It say CIC review applications based on arrival dates. https://m.imgur.com/a/4eWRO

Please note that CIC always says that they "BEGIN processing applications in the order they arrive". That does not mean that they ISSUE AOR in the order they arrive. There are many internal processes (that no one on this forum has an overview over) that make some applications go faster than others.

Again, AORs not being issued in the order of arrival of the envelope does not in any way contradict any statement by CIC that I have seen so far anywhere. If anything that screenshot includes the very quote by CIC that there are many factors affecting processing of an application.
