To people who’s Applications are delivered on 13 October
We have been seeing that CIC is sending AORs to application that have been received after 13 of October. Instead of individually following our cases I suggest that all of us need to call CIC next week together and Enquire why we have not been sent AOR while applications delivered weeks after ours receive AOR. If we all call CIC at once, next week, I am sure they will take action. Any suggestions and do you know any specific number that we all should call?
I'll suggest to have patience, my application was received on October 13 , and I got AOR 2 days ago, my opinion there is no point to call.

I think it's better to send another application. Further more, send one through Canada post regular mail everyday until AOR! Then they will realize the consequence of doing things like that!

My feeling is that the whole process will be like this going forward because of the huge application pile opened up. If you ask any question they keep giving text book answers and dont answer specifically. Unless they make significant process changes or add capacity processing will be back and forth. Image the Pre-C6 folks still waiting for IP or even AOR when we have have C6 folks getting IP and so on. I guess we have to take it as it is and just go bury ourselves for a year. If we get AOR the only assurance is you are in the system and till then its a needle in the haystack search.

This is a bad idea and it it doesnt help anyone. Unless everyone is the date you sent got AOR sending a second application will only cause further delays for others who are behind us.

What I mean is that we need everyone without AOR to take some actions and send some messages to IRCC to make them realize their mistakes. I don't mean this idea will only help a specific person.

What mistake? So far no applications from late Oct and early Nov have received AOR, and the number of AOR have been going up everyday for applications delivered between 12-16 - that means they are working on it, what else do you expect?

According to the discussions in this forum... my application fell into the worse possible situation.

Delivered on: October 16th, 2017 (cursed date according to few analysts)
Received by: MIKE at reception (the most lazy guy at IRCC)

Well hope for the best.. :D

Waste of time!!!

Phone agents have very limited information about such issues. They will just read a script and if you get hostile, you will be warned, then hang up on you. It's written on their website as it pertains to AOR: "There may be a delay between the date we receive your application and the date we open it."

What mistakes are you talking about here, did they commit ever that they will process the applications in a particular timeline

Hi,

Any person has an idea which IRCC processing center process applications from Thunder Bay, ON? I got AoR recently and my address is in Thunder Bay.

Thanks
