Good luck for speedy process.
I heard it earlier that they are planning to reduce the processing time for PNP applications.
By the way, I missed submitting my application for OINP before they went into maintenance today morning.
Now, waiting to submit my application. :(
Thanks! Turn that sad face upside down. :) The maintenance ended earlier than forecasted, so the site is back up and running. Have you submitted by now?

I guess we are missing something here. I think they will issue NOI, most likely mid November to make the deadline last week of December after 45 days expiry time. Have a look at the statement below-

NOTE: If your application is approved after the OINP reaches its nomination allocation for 2017, your nomination certificate will be issued in early 2018.

Just wish everyone struggling with crs should get a NOI :)
They have not stated that they are issuing NOIs for HCP stream again, and they also have not stated that they won't for the rest of 2017. They announced the rules that mention NOIs issued after November 1 in case they need to issue more to fill the 2017 quota. They are monitoring closely the volume of applications. Bottom line, they are not currently issuing NOIs for HCP stream, but they still might later this year, depending on how many applications they receive from people who had NOIs from before. My honest personal opinion, given the low number of nominations left as of October 10 and the high number of people like me who missed the July 25 deadline and had been waiting every day for the chance to submit, is that they will not need to issue any more NOIs to fill the 2017 quota, although I hope for all of our sakes that I am wrong.

Although they are monitoring the volume of applications closely, they cannot predict exactly how many will result in nominations in 2017, so they put in the line you quoted above to tell us that if they end up accepting too many applications relative to the remaining 2017 quota, the extras will be issued nominations in early 2018 against the 2018 quota.

@trumprefugee @sundar17feb99 @Lala1234 .... simply happy to know you guys could submit your OINP applications. Can’t express how good it makes you feel when people (although you have never met, but are connected by a common thread) get to achieve what they strived for!!! It’s an amazing feeling and only helps you to not give up at any time.

Cheers to you guys and everyone who has been able to submit the applications. All the best for further processes..!
So happy you took that chance friend! wishing you all the best!
Thanks mate and good luck with your ONIP application.

I wish u, @trumprefugee and @Lala1234 a speedy nomination
Thank you all for the well wishes! We have not met each other yet, but we will next year in Canada. I think we all feel a connection with each other that we do not have with our real-life friends who have never immigrated. Only we know and understand exactly what each of us is going through in this journey. It has been a very difficult wait since July 25, not to mention the 4 months I also spent waiting for a forthcoming job offer that ended up falling through! I still have a long road ahead, but I am glad finally to be making progress. There is reassurance in getting on the road, even if I am only taking baby steps.

Hi it’ll be great if someone can help me with a few questions regarding OINP.
Q1. Can I make changes to my EE profile after having received the NOI?

Q2. I don’t have all the letters and bank statements for my work experience from 2008-2011. 2011 onwards all my docs are in place. Is there a way out ?

Q3. I quit my job in 2015 to prepare for further studies but dropped the idea end of 2015 due to personal circumstances and got back to working in Jan 2016. How to I cover up the period I was off work?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have been a lurker at these forums ever since I created my EE profile (September 2017). After months of noticing draws and the overall scenario, I could not stop myself from creating a profile in this forum and start interacting with all you experienced members.

The ROH threads have given me more insight and hope than my consultant.

I am a 26 years old professional with a 4+ years of experience in compliance stream.

Currently, considering every factor, my CRS is coming down weak at 381.
My first time IELTS score went decent at L-7 R-8 W-7 S-7 and I know that there is always a scope of improvement.

After the November 1st announcement, the only feasible option as of now is PNP and like many others, I have my fingers crossed for Provinces to be more active and have my NOC in demand.

Thanks to everyone who is still keeping the ray of hope alive and sparkling in this thread. Cheers!
Your IELTS can be your ticket to success. Work on those scores, you surely have good scope for improvement and it will make a good difference to your scores. Many here saw leaps in their crs scores just by improving the ielts scores. All the best.

In my case, landing Canada correlates to shifting between gears.
1st gear : Apply for WES and IELTS and wait for results.
2nd gear: Apply with the scores and ECA and wait for the call.
3rd gear: Apply for PNP's and wait for the Nomination.
4th gear: Apply for Federal ITA and wait for PPR.
5th gear: Land and wait for a job which gives satisfaction.

Am glad to intimate my well wishers and other forum members that I shifted to 3rd gear Yesterday.
Hoping for smooth ride ahead :):).

Mine is a five gear transmission by the way :p:p

any comment on this will greatly help
Congratulations for the addition of an angel to your family:)
I am not sure of your situation..but I think it would be better not to have the baby as a dependent initially and after you are through with your PR , you can apply for dependent ....

I am not sure..this is what is my point of view...seniors are requested to shed some light....

Stay blessed:)
