It has been observed from the past that OINP sends NOI's to newly created profiles. I have a personal experience, happened for me in Feb this year. Got NOI within 20 hours of creating new profile after withdrawing the old one.

To be safe withdraw and recreate profile around 6:30 PM Canada time, so that by next day morning Canada time you are ready with an active profile.

Forgive me if this will sound absolutely daft. But when you withdraw a profile, does it mean that profile becomes null and void just because you withdrew it, thus requiring one to make a new profile.

The profile usually asks for last ee profile number, if applicable, what do you put for that. The ee# just withdrawn.

Do you create a new profile with the same login credentials?

Hey guys any news on Ontario HCP? Anyone, who created new profile recently created EE profile got NOI?. I have created 2 days ago. Still waiting for it
Friend, it’s not the same as receiving the ITA post a draw. It’s random and can take time. We all are waiting and am sure as soon as one of us here received it, we will get to know.

I recieved ontario Invitation on 9th august 2017..will it be valid now?
  • You must have a valid profile in the Express Entry (EE) system in order to apply.
  • You must have received a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario that is still valid in order to apply.
  • Notifications of Interest (NOI) issued prior to November 1, 2017 are valid for six months or to December 31, 2017 (whichever comes first). This means that you must submit an application for the HCP Stream in the OINP e-Filing Portal within six months of receiving your NOI from Ontario.
Yes it is valid.

:)
I have been a lurker at these forums ever since I created my EE profile (September 2017). After months of noticing draws and the overall scenario, I could not stop myself from creating a profile in this forum and start interacting with all you experienced members.

The ROH threads have given me more insight and hope than my consultant.

I am a 26 years old professional with a 4+ years of experience in compliance stream.

Currently, considering every factor, my CRS is coming down weak at 381.
My first time IELTS score went decent at L-7 R-8 W-7 S-7 and I know that there is always a scope of improvement.

Your IELTS score is not bad at all.. you just have to increase the L band from 7 to 8 ... by doing that you have a fair chance of getting an ITA... you are almost there.. you just need little push :)

After the November 1st announcement, the only feasible option as of now is PNP and like many others, I have my fingers crossed for Provinces to be more active and have my NOC in demand.

Thanks to everyone who is still keeping the ray of hope alive and sparkling in this thread. Cheers!

I was trying that last night. How do you first create a new profile and then with far the old one ? I mean I only saw the option in my CIC login to withdraw profile ... but nothing clarifying if I wanted to create a new profile? So I thought I would have to withdraw my existing profile first before creating a new one.

Also, of my total work exp. of 13 yrs,the NOC of my first 2 and last 6 yrs fall under fhighly skilled of FSW criteria. But the mid period doesn’t. So do I need to put all my work experience in the new EE profile ( which I already did in the old one) or should I only show for the relevant periods? The reason to ask this is I have read on some threads that it’s better to keep only those experience that matter for the CRS scores to avoid any hassle while submitting docs. However, my doubt is will they not ask for your missing period details?

If anyone can throw some light, I would grateful.

Thanks in advance.
You need to create a new profile with a separate gc key and a seperate email id.
Regarding work reference you can show only the experience for which you are claiming points and explain the same reason in loe if there are gaps
Your personal history will cover all your work so it will not be a problem

Thanks for view.

BTW, its not that there is a gap in my work. It's been 13 years of continuous work. It's just that the experience for a 5 year period in between is under an NOC which doesn't fall under skill level 0, A & B which is a requirement for FSW. The NOC falls under Category C, and hence my question --- Should I or Should I not show this period in the EE profile??

Thanks.

In a similar slot buddy. The feedback im getting from friends on the forum is to go via OINP route. Im taking their advice.
In the end a bird in hand is better than two in the bush.
Best of luck
Fair enough, can't really blame you for wanting to go for that certainty. I guess it might be a better course of action for you than for me, depending on your circumstances. All the best. :D

I completely understand your situation. you can skip that period of 5 years from your work history and clearly explain in the loe about the same. Cic looks for the eligibility whether you have experience letters as per your claims and according to the requirements that's it.
If you are above the 3 year period you can claim the max points. so eliminating the 5 yrs will not be a problem
But that period should be covered in your personal history section

1- yes, you can apply
2- Notifications of Interest (NOI) issued prior to November 1, 2017 are valid for six months or to December 31, 2017 (whichever comes first). This means that you must submit an application for the HCP Stream in the OINP e-Filing Portal within six months of receiving your NOI from Ontario.
So you don't have to withdraw ...
3- yes, same stream.
