I don't think they have enough 2017 quota left to be issuing any more NOIs in 2017, given the low number of nominations left and the high number of people like me who missed out on the July 25 deadline and have been waiting every day for this reopening to submit our applications. And given that they say any NOIs issued from now onward will expire in 45 days or on December 31, whichever is sooner, I think they are not trying to get a head start on 2018 but just trying to fill the 2017 quota while being willing to hold extra ones for 2018. However, CIC and OINP have shown themselves to be unpredictable, so who knows. In any case, they will resume issuing normal NOIs in 2018 (i.e., valid for at least 6 months).
Although their quota for 2017 will definitely exhaust soon and they do Not need to issue new Noi' s, but oinp clearly stated that if the quota will exhaust they will issue nomination to the registered applicants in early 2018.
So even if they issue NOI and allot only 45 days time period for submission it will not be a waste they will definitely issue nomination in early 2018
Therefore when anyways it can take time till early 2018 the ones above 420 can wait to see the crs trends and apply oinp in 2018. Hopefully by then there are great chances that crs could fall down.

Mostly Nov 8th.
Predicted scores and draw size
Do you think there will be increase in draw size right from Nov or we will have to wait for Jan for bigger draw size??
Waiting desperately for the coming draw not for ITA but to know the upcoming trends;)

Withdraw and create new.
Why?

You see, I feel very conflicted by this ideia. WHAT IF oinp sends out NOI in the meantime my profile is out?

(Sometimes it takes 24hr to profile being active)

How do you guys know that they give special attention to newer profiles?!

Just something I can't take my mind off

First create a new one and then withdraw the old one

Rest easy. It isn't like "guys" given special attention to newer profiles. It's the "script" which favours new profile.

Unlike CIC's ITA, OINP's NOI can't be declined. So that leads to the assumption , older profiles would already applied in another streams in one way or another. Keep in mind that until we specify our EE profile number in pnp's application, there won't be any sync between CIC's and PNP's.

Hence they will design a script to issue NOI for the newly created profiles as they are ones who are more likely to be a genuine applicants of ONIP.

@trumprefugee @sundar17feb99 @Lala1234 .... simply happy to know you guys could submit your OINP applications. Can’t express how good it makes you feel when people (although you have never met, but are connected by a common thread) get to achieve what they strived for!!! It’s an amazing feeling and only helps you to not give up at any time.

Cheers to you guys and everyone who has been able to submit the applications. All the best for further processes..!

First create a new one and then withdraw the old one
I was trying that last night. How do you first create a new profile and then with far the old one ? I mean I only saw the option in my CIC login to withdraw profile ... but nothing clarifying if I wanted to create a new profile? So I thought I would have to withdraw my existing profile first before creating a new one.

Also, of my total work exp. of 13 yrs,the NOC of my first 2 and last 6 yrs fall under fhighly skilled of FSW criteria. But the mid period doesn’t. So do I need to put all my work experience in the new EE profile ( which I already did in the old one) or should I only show for the relevant periods? The reason to ask this is I have read on some threads that it’s better to keep only those experience that matter for the CRS scores to avoid any hassle while submitting docs. However, my doubt is will they not ask for your missing period details?

If anyone can throw some light, I would grateful.

Thanks in advance.

I believe you can create a new profile only after you withdraw your existing profile !

The trip was very useful. My husband doesn't have a job there yet, so we are staying very flexible. At the moment, I plan to commute back and forth about every 10 days even while I have a permanent place starting February. However, if we were to find a great sublet, it might pay us to get a Toronto address sooner. So anything is still possible.

How are things going for you? Any new plans?
Good to know. Managed to submit application for Nova Scotia nomination about 3 weeks back, now waiting for update.

Few urgent queries directed towards my fellow Indians-

1. Can I apply for a PCC before receiving an ITA or has the date on PCC should be after the ITA?

2. There are couple of ways to obtain a PCC. First, by applying online thru Passport Seva Kendra. Second, by applying directly at the local police dept. single window service centres. Please let me know which one is applicable for Canadian Immigration purposes?

3. I am unable to locate my birth certificate (in local language). Do I need to apply for the same again or would 10th Class Board Exam certificate suffice that requirement?

Kindly assist.

PCC can be applied before ITA as it has a validity of 6 months or 1 year from the date of issue ( Please check this point regarding validity)

It is better to apply to PSK as it is a pretty straightforward process and it covers the complete period of stay in India. I applied in indian embassy qatar as I’m staying here in a qatar. A friend of mine who’s staying in India right now has got it from PSK and he received COPR last month. So I feel it’s better to get from PSK for you.

Regarding birth certificate, I don’t think it is required as you will have your DOB in passport and other certificates like 10th, 12th class etc.

Thanks for your note :) Indeed it's an amazing feeling. Only when you wait for something you get to know the real value.
When am new to EE, I thought getting an invitation is a cake walk while settling in Canada is a rough sea to cruise but this wait taught me getting an invitation itself needs persistent patience among other things.

It reminded me a quote- "When life throws you hardships, observe. It tries you to teach you something"
