Pls see the above link..I think I found a successful case
Hi A J,

Well, the LoE I drafted simply states the facts with emphasis on the point that the processing time (of up to 14 weeks) is something I cannot influence. Hence, the need for extension.

So far, I am yet to see anyone share their experience on whether or not IRCC granted their request for extension for PCC submission (apologies if I missed it). However, what some seem to have done is to decline the ITA & rejoin the pool pending processing of the PCC. I consider that a gamble.

Sorry guys ... kindly share your experience in this regard if any.

Thanks

Ehi

has anyone had experience asking for a second extension for FBI PCC? my first extension of 60 days was not enough as FBIs processing speeds have continuously slowed down. please advise.

even i have to ask for 2nd extension. let me know if u get any answer to this. thank you.. :)

I had emailed them and received the following today (My package was delivered on August 1st)
"We are unable to locate your request at this time.
The current processing time for an FBI Background Check is taking 12-14 weeks to complete from the date the request was received. It can take 9+ weeks for a request to clear our security process, so we are not able to see the request in our system until then.
At this time we are opening mail we received on approximately 07/27/2017. We are unable to verify the delivery of a package until it is opened. If you submitted your request by courier (Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS), please view their web site to verify delivery."

Is this the standard reply to emails, if anyone knows?
Yes its the regular answer
Mine also was received by them on aug first

Curious:
Does anyone know of any cases where the application was approved without an FBI PCC?
In this scenario:
- 1st PCC likely lost in transit
- 2nd PCC will likely not arrive in time before the deadline of the extended date
- Already have furnished a PCC from the state DPS

I think I saw back in this thread or a similar one that someone got rejected twice for fingerprint quality then submitted a detailed LOE about that with his state done PCC and requested that the application proceed like that and it did and he got his PPR. Not sure if this varies from officer to officer as some might be granted extra extension and that's it.

its just approx dates.. just in case i recieve ppr just before i leave for ca
Hello,

Anyone know if FBI accepts fingerprints taken in blue ink (the one used for stamps, etc.)? I went through a ton of forums and checked several sites -- including that of FBI's -- but could not find anything that suggested if the color of the ink mattered.

My package has been received by FBI late in August, so it would be immensely helpful to know if I need to send a new set of prints as I already have an ITA due early in January.

Thanks!
they do accept the fingerprints taken with stamp pad. mine got accepted.

Hey guys. My courier tracking says that the package was accepted at Columbia , Ohio by L. Wagnor, whereas I sent to clarksburg wv. Is it okay? Is there some security system behind this? Or m I in a trouble?
its fine. mine got the same update

Hey I need a suggestion.
So my crs score is 446. I recieved an ITA on 20th September. My deadline is 20th dec. I Donot expect to receive my FBI PCC till 1st week of January as per the current status of FBI. So I have two options
1) submit my application in dec near the deadline without FBI PCC and seek for an extension.
2) withdraw the existing profile and then submit a new profile in the pool and wait for the next draw and ITA, since the current score is 436, so probably I'm in a asafer zone. Why m I asking this is - by this option the deadline would be somewhere in 4th week of January , and I will have my PCC by then.
Please suggest what should I do?
no need to decline.submit ur application with LOE, eplaining ur situation. cic will give u additional 60 days from the date they ask u for additional document. i got 60days . thats my experience.

Hey Guys,

I am new here, so forgive me for any repetitions. My US PCC package was received on 27-Sep-2017. My PR file was logged with an "Applied for PCC" status. Now my agent just informed me that I have up until 15-Dec-2017 to get the PCC. So what do I do? Since they are opening envelopes received on 1st Aug, I guess mine is going to take a long time and I want to sort this thing out quickly.

Can I reapply the PCC and this time through an approved channeler (who claims to get me the PCC in 15 days)? Will applying again have any negative effect? or Is there any other way? Please let me know.

All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
Mohit
