We did our interview today in Santo Domingo DR and got approved!!

After 7 months of processing my husbands PR has been approved! Thanks to those who were nice enough to contribute and boo hoo to those who werent.

Guys I'm so stressed out. We got an email today for our interview and it says it's in Mexico. The problem is I'm in under DACA and the DACA visa doesn't let me leave the country. If I leave I can't come back. I grew up here in the states. I haven't been in Mexico since I was 2 . I have seven days to email them. HELP!!!!!

Hi, my husband and I submit the application for permanent residence in the family class for spouses currently living in Canada.

The Canadian Embassy in Mexico will request a police certificate on my name behalf after I provide the fingerprints.

The certificate will be sent to CIC and the results will be uploaded directly in there sistem.

how long take that process?

Anyone have suggestions on how to get a prepaid airway bill for the Mexico office to send the passport back to Dominican?
We tried in Dominican but every place say we can't. I am trying here from Canada and I am not sure how it's possible. Everyone I talk to says they can't help and call another place

DHL in Dominican should let you buy 2 envelopes no? Then Mexico can send it back in the 2nd prepaid envelope

That's what I thought too. I don't know why they all said no. They kept telling us we have to pay to send it from Dominican and then back again.

Does anyone have an idea as to how much time does an embassy take to send the COPR document after they receive the passport and other PPR documents? The thing is I might be in need of my passport if it takes more than 3 weeks time.Does anybody know if it is possible to collect the passport from embassy and return it back?

when did you sent the passport? I sent it 3 weeks ago and still nothing . . .

They took the passport last Tuesday at our interview when they said we were approved. So she took it with her back to Mexico.
They requested the pre paid airway bill and we sent that yesterday by email.
They also sent us the welcome to Canada and preparing for Canada letter.

I received that Welcome to Canada and preparing for Canada letter back in Feb but the PPR till Oct 4th now we are just waiting for the COPR , they do have the prepaid AWB so hopefully hear from them this week
