We sent in the passport on October 19th; anxiously waiting for it to come back!

Question... my husband is already in Canada on his visitor visa which will expire on November 17th.. Do you think we will get our passport back in time or should we apply for a visitor extension right now??

since hes already in canada as a visitor, did you sent his passport to mexico city or Ottawa ?

the visa extension is taking around 4 months to get. if you want to apply id do it now just to be safe.

good luck!

My passport was received by the mexico visa office on Oct 25th and my application was approved on Nov 6th but there still no update on the return tracker. Did your return tracker become active before receiving the passport? I am using UPS.

We used UPS as well. Our passport left Mexico on Friday afternoon, got to Ottawa on Saturday morning but it sat in the warehouse until Monday. We got it at our door Monday afternoon. The tracker was updated almost real time.

Thank you for your response. Hopefully my tracker activates soon as I have trip planned next week. Thanks again!

Hello everybody. I just got my passport request email, but it didn't have a footer with the address where to send the passports. I checked other posts and they mentioned this address:

The Canadian Embassy
Immigration Section
Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193
Col. Granada
11520 Mexico, D.F

Is this still the address? Where have you sent your passports? Thanks for your info!
