Thank you all. I will post the timeline. Has somebody received this letter without the visa expiry date?. Mine only has XXXX on the field, I wonder if it's just a glitch or if it means something.

Hello can somebody help :(

My wife and I submitted the application for Outland PR on March 8th 2017 ( she is Canadian I am Mexican ). My medical were requested about a couple of weeks later and I passed them. Then I got an email requesting schedule 1 IMM3908, schedule A background declaration and passport pictures , they gave me 28 days to send that info to Miguel de Cervantes which we did... . We haven’t received any other notification since March .. it’s been 8 months and we feel super worried :/. Is this normal ? How long does it take to receive the police check request email /letter ? How does it work ?

Thank you

We applied on the old system (September 2016) and our application took just over 12 months.. which I think is ballpark average processing time. Just to give you an idea. My husband is from Guatemala and just landed today :)

Does anyone's PPR has the same error? I've sent a message but I don't know if they will reply. Anyway, yesterday I sent the passports.

ITA: October 18
Request to pay RPRF: November 6
PPR: November 8
Passport Sent: November 14

Hi Mexico VOers,
My partner and I have officially joined the ranks of those being processed in Mexico- we got the transfer confirmation e-mail yesterday. I've been following this thread for a while and get the impression that folks haven't had the speediest of experiences with this VO, but I'll be hopeful. Is there a Mexico spreadsheet in the works, or any averages about processing times etc. for applications once they are transferred? I know it's likely to be all over the show, but if there's a spreadsheet I'll put our info in. Saludos!

Welcome and congratulations!

From what I have seen, after Dec 07 the minimum processing time for family applicants in this VO was about 5 months and the Maximum is unknown since many January applicants are still waiting for PPR.

There is a spreadsheet. I just tried to copy the link but it won't let me. It does give averages etc but a lot of people on here never put their info on it so it's not entirely accurate. That said, my timeline almost mimicked the averages (at least for our specific country) which is one of the countries that take the longest.

Ok interesting, thanks. When you say your timeline mimicked the averages for "our specific country"- do you mean our VO country Mexico, or the country from which the PA in your case is from? We are Argentina and I haven't seen many others from there around this forum.

Sorry that was confusing. The PA my hubby in this case is Dominican so it typically takes a little longer. There was someone from December 2016 applicants like me from Argentina. We chatted quite a lot over the few months. I think Argie was the name. They submitted application December 15 and Passport request and approval was May 11.

Ok, that makes sense. Curious that Dominican is decidedly longer than other countries. Have folks noticed a trend about interviews for applications at the Mexico VO- since many countries that are vetted through there are technically "developing" and not visa exempt?

There is definitely a trend for interviews for Dominican Republic. I haven't followed the other ones as closely but it does seem that way as you suggested for the Mexico VO
