Hi everyone. I had applied for permanent resident in November 2016 and got owp in feb 2017. Now waiting for next response. I just want to know that how long should I wait. My daughter is in india. I applied in old pathway. Please suggest me . thanks

Yes ..I got eligibility letter in march and in april they ask documents for dependant....but not for medical . So i am worried and just want to know that how much should i wait...Thanks for sharing your timelines.

Its been 6month and i have not got my Eligibility Letter. I am tempted to call them

MARCH 31ST 2017- Application sent
April 4th 2017- Application received
May 2nd 2017- AOR
May 11 2017- OWP
October 12 2017- Eligibility email

Did you apply through the live in caregivers pathway or the new pathway as a married applicant. You the 1st i heard for this year. Am happy for you

my wife's timeline so far... we are waiting for the eligibility letter

May 18th - sent OWP/PR Applications
May 24th - CIC received (according to canadapost)
July 19th - CIC opened OWP/PR and started processing
July 31st - OWP approved
Aug 4th - OWP received in mail

Single Applicant, Alberta Canada

Initial WP ( applied in New York ) - approved June 16,2014
Expiry- June 15,2016
Started Working - Aug 01,2014
Work Permit Extended - May 04,2016
Extended WP approved - June 16,2016
Applied for PR/ Open Work : Sept 15,2016 ( 25 months experience )

PR stage One Passes - October 05,2016
PR interview - January 3,2017

Open Work Permit Approved - Dec 06,2016
