if thats the case, mine has never changed from DIP , since 14th Aug
i got PFL on 29th Sep, replied/AOR on 4th OCT
during all this process, i have been in DIP, always.
Hello mcassim87,
I wrote an email to OINP yesterday stating that I have replied to their PFL in October, 4, and that my application status is still showing "Decision in Progress", since August while I believe it should have been changed to "Awaiting information" when the PFL was sent to me.
few hours I checked and found that the status became "Awaiting information".
I do not know if they have read my email and informed the officer in charge, or it was a coincidence.
Based on Bill reply to one of my posts, normally when they change such an application from "Awaiting information" to "Decision in Progress", then you can tell they're going through your documents, and you could expect a decision in a couple of days.

You could also contact them and ask the same in case you see that important for you.
Best Regards,

No nominations again this whole week..... a couple of applicants have received procedural fairness letters but no new nominations issued.

Their focus is not on HCP stream at all..... this much is obvious :(

Applicants in limbo..... unfair really..... it's frustrating and disappointing

@ BillHyatt @anwar01 ..... any inputs for us waiting?? @BillHyatt any idea why they're creating such a gap between nominations?

I think someone mentioned in earlier post in this forum that only a few more seats left under with Ontario for HCP which probably got exhausted on oct 12th. So now probably next yr only thay will open HCP stream under General category when the quota gets renewed.

Do you mean to say that all those applicants that are waiting in decision in progress stage will only get nomination issued next year ?

That's not very good news for those stuck in dip status:confused:

Are you also in Dip stage ? If yes, can you pls share your timeline?
My friend ....
As i mentioned that my assumption is based on posts which I read in this forum and some questions posed on quora.com.
As far as my case is concerned I am still waiting for NOI at 409 CRS.
I spoke to my lawyer Campell cohen they are also not very positive about any Hcp opening in this year. But again all this is pure speculation.
Let's hope for the best.

Hey quick question,

While creating my express entry profile, I am asked to indicated whether or not I have received received a nomination certificate from a province or territory?

Do I answer "Yes" knowing that it is the next step in order for me to get an invitation from the province I am interested in?

Do I answer know "No", knowing that might decrease my chances of getting enough CRS point for me to get an provincial invitation?

I am a bit confused

Thanks,

You can not select yes unless u hv one nomination of a province. So select no.

@BillHyatt
Hi Bill, pls share your views on the current OINP pause once again on issuance of new nominations to applicants stuck in DIP status.....

Your views have always been informative and predictions have materialised. So your opinion would really help us all.

When 594 nominations were left on October 12th we all were in agreement that this figure should be enough to accommodate HCP stream Dip stage applications as well as new registrations they'd taken inder masters and PhD stream. Then what could be the reason for OINPs intermittent pause in issuance of new nominations once again?????

Wud really appreciate your thoughts on this

Next set of data will be available in November by IRCC till then we can’t accurately predict it.

I can’t find any valid reason for pausing Nominations.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Bill do you think they're still facing any kind of backlog of applications like they keep claiming when we call them or send an email?

I don’t think so as they are not issuing many Nominations. If there was a backlog then it is expected from them to send more nominations.

It is my guess that IRCC may have asked them to slow down the process as they are facing a huge backlog for PNP. Since OINP slowed down Nominations the speed of PNP applications have improved especially for June and July Applicants.

Yes, your explanation seems more reasonable. IRCC most definitely has a PNP backlog. They wud have asked OINP to slow down.
So if this is the reason then quota fulfilment is not the cause.

Considering the above, perhaps we can expect to be nominated within this year - within 2017 quota, even if the nominations are spread out in the rest of the year.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. This wait is difficult.....
