My Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) expired in 2024, and I am currently enrolled in a postgraduate diploma program that ends in August 2025. My current study permit is valid until December 2025. I plan to begin a Master’s program in January 2026. My main concern is whether I would be eligible to apply through the OINP Masters Graduate Stream after completing my Master’s degree. According to the OINP requirements, applicants must not be enrolled as students at the time of application—unless they are either pursuing licensure for a regulated occupation or working full-time in Ontario. Given that I would likely be issued a study permit allowing only 24 hours of work per week, I understand I may not meet the full-time work requirement, and I am ineligible for another PGWP.
